Quiet car park beside the river. Beautiful coastal walk. Interesting town trail in the picturesque little town. Met very nice and helpful people.

If you camp in Holland, make sure you visit this delightful little site, superbly situated on the banks of the canal. Not only does it provide a beautiful and peaceful overnight stay but it also offers fishing as well as boat/canoe hire on site. Water and electricity (if needed) are included in the very modest price of Euro 10. You can swim in the canal and there are ample opportunities for walking / cycling expeditions in the area. Having been more than well looked after for a wonderful and enjoyable week, I would like to say a big thank you to the owners, Petra and Pim, both extremely approachable and helpful. Nothing is a problem and nothing is too much - always positive and with the most infectious laughter to which you can't but succumb.
