I can be slightly more equivocal than Jan. No services here but shaded parking is available for Motorhomes. Walk over the hill bordering the parking area and there is a fabulous park with a lake, and a bar with terrace. Some street noise but a great stopover for a night. Ours was the only Motorhome parked but my guess is that there is parking for 20 or so.

No services but a nice place to stay on this barren windswept finger of land between two connected lakes. No shops, the local bar was closed and a place that might appeal to campers in search of solitude. Only one other van here when we stayed in late September. Grass uneven unmarked pitches.

I counted 3 pitches for Motorhomes on a slightly undulating surface. I doubt if anyone would mind if you parked in the main car park where there are 80+ more spaces. Electricity available, safe and quiet. The pay machine did not work so a free stay. The old town is a 20 minute walk away and the map displayed next to the Motorhome parking bays helps to get you there.

All facilities in this corporate owned campsite. Clean facilities and 4 separate drains to dump grey water when leaving. 170+ spaces. Not much going on in the locality but OK if you prefer to stay in you van in the evenings. Tip: for special meal out, take a taxi to Didi Chen’s World of Asia restaurant - 3 kilometres south of site.

It’s like parking your Motorhome on the jungle set of “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”. Basic site but friendliness and enthusiasm of owner and his Mum make it a welcoming experience. The sanitary block is a former bunker used by the Soviet army as a firing range. One toilet for each gender. Water, drain and chemical toilet available. Not much going on in the locality.

Free parking in a small lakeside compound with accommodation for 12 Motorhomes. Free electricity generously provided by hotel owners. Flat firm surface. Tip: there is a drain to empty your cassette. Look for the house with overhanging balcony and satellite dish opposite hotel on approach road to parking lot. Heavy drain cover with wire handles. Overflow parking in adjacent mixed parking lot.

Flat firm surface in a parking lot adjacent to the lake amongst glorious mountain scenery. Parking for 30+ Motorhomes at a cost of 15€ for 24 hours. Village close by with Ski lift a short walk away. Quiet and safe. Chilly at night in September when we visited. Public toilet block at edge of the lot. Chemical toilet available. Water and electric on coin meter.

No services here but a level, gravel surface in mixed parking. We spent a quiet night here and woke up to find that the local half marathon was in progress. There is a local bar and as our stay was out of season we had free access to the park and the lakeside. A good spot for an overnight stay. Not near the town.

Good scenic spot in mixed parking adjacent to the Danube. Skips for rubbish but no facilities. To visit the Old Town (for bars and restaurants) take the steps to the tram stop on the adjacent bridge (it has green criss cross railings) and buy a 70 cent ticket in the machine. Take a no 1 tram in the direction across the river and get off after 2 stops. This takes you to the edge of the Old Town.

One of 5 ‘Autocamps’ in the street located in Trojská, a suburb of Prague. The owners have converted their back gardens to Motorhome parking. For the price well worth it for the security alone. 16 pitches electricity, clean toilets and showers, cassette dump, free Wi-Fi adequate for streaming. Tram no.17 at the end of the street delivering you to Staromêstská, next to Charles Bridge after 7 stops.

Parking in a field in the middle of nowhere for which you are asked to pay 10€. Access by a potholed track and the parking is next to a children’s camp which was deserted when we arrived. We left as it was too remote and not within walking distance of the village. It does not deserve the high rating given by others.

Not really a yatch club as far as I could see but just a vacant promenade by the river. No facilities but a pnice quiet place to stay by the river on a slightly undulating hard surface. It’s free and in use contrary to what was suggested in another post. The town centre is a short walk away (bars and restaurants). This place is far superior to the zoo park place two kilometres away.

Free water available at this Aire. Slightly sloping cobbled parking area. There is a cassette dump and grey water discharge and electricity on a 1€ coin meter. Mixed parking and space for approximately 10 Motorhomes. The town centre is 250 meters away.

Level surface secure Aire with water and waste disposal available. Care required when manoeuvring your Motorhome to a position to discharge grey water as metal drain cap is damaged and liable to collapse. Adjacent to railway track but trees contain the noise. Train station 1.5 kilometres away where you can take the steam train up the mountain to The Brocken. 40€ return per adult.

Flat gravel surface. The services -water, chemical toilet ,drain) are on the left hand side as you join the lane from the main road. Some shade. Water costs 1€ even to wash your toilet cassette so keep some grey water in reserve. Park location and good for a night stopover but we experienced some noise from local building work.

Parking for 10 Motorhomes with plenty of extra space in the adjacent mixed parking area. Water available - 40 litres for 50c. Level surface and suitable for longer motorhomes with trailers. Shaded by trees. The charming village square is a 10 minute walk away where there are a couple of bars and restaurants.

Nice place to stay for a night despite the lack of a chemical toilet facility or a grey water drain. Level gravel surface, bar selling bottled beer. Under a flight path but not a busy airfield. Plenty of electric points. Clean showers and toilets. Water available.

A very nice sedate orderly campsite on the edge of the attractive town of Much Wenlock. Pitches are gravel and the site is manicured like a golf course. Shower block and toilets are limited in number and we could not find the drain for dumping grey water. The town centre is a 10 minute walk away and has a Spar supermarket and a number of nice pubs and tea shops. Recommended.

Quiet Aire next to cemetery and a short walk into town over the railway track. Tip - the flat pitches and those suitable for the longer vehicles are those next to the grey water dump (on grass) but if your van has a long overhang be careful not to ground your vehicle if reversing into position. Boulangerie in the village, two bars and two restaurants. Great stop for one night.

Terraced layout to this Aire, high up and overlooking the city. All facilities available with water and electricity on dell the pitches. Bread baked locally, one toilet foe each gender. Reception a pain taking too long to check you in and payment for more than one day in advance is not possible. Good clean well maintained Aire suitable for bigger vans.

Mixed parking on a promenade under a flight path on a promenade next to the sea. No facilities but clean flat surface. Bigger vans of 8 metres + will not fit in the bays. One local tavern. There is a funicular costing 20c transporting you up the cliff into town where there are some shops tapas bars and an Irish bar for Guinness. Indian restaurant st the end of the bay.

A good Aire for visiting San Sebastián with all facilities. No local shop (as far as I could see) parking on hard standing and slightly sloping. Pitches marked and motorhomes crammed into a relatively small area. Pay machine (3.30 euros a day) a challenge to understand. Fills up by late afternoon.

Parking for 25+ vans on an undulating mixed hardstanding and grass surface with trees dividing half the pitches. Entry is via an unnecessarily complicated credit card pay system . I paid, the barrier went up and then down again before I returned to my van to start the engine. I had to call the attendant on the intercom to gain access. 12 Euros for 24 hours and located on a flight path.

Shaded campsite with clean well kept facilities. Approach road a bit dodgy for the bigger vans (in terms of overhanging foliage). Seaside with rocky beach 200 metres away. Coastal path good for biking into town and jogging. Site needs a good team of landscape gardeners to bring it up to scratch and then regular ongoing maintenance but otherwise an OK place to stay away from the Costas high rises

A good campsite with a shanty town atmosphere. Toilets and showers scrubbed clean and English breakfast served for 4 euros in the cafe/bar. Friday afternoon crooner starts crooning at 4pm so park away from the cafe if you value peace and quiet. Full marks for use of solar panels and bio mass to heat the water. Watch out for the low branches when chosing pitch/parking. Benidorm is a dreadful place.

Excellent well maintained aire with marked spaces, and all services. The adjacent tram station is called Campus Rio Ebro. For visiting the bars and restaurants area take the tram to Plaza España (9 stops) and visit El Tubo area after 8pm when it comes alive. Tram ticket cost 1.3 euros and the ticket is purchased at the tram stop. The touch screen gives instructions in several languages.

Parking on a slightly sloping tarmac surface with view of the sea. Bar at the end of the parking area and the lighthouse is an interesting feature. In a residential area with rows of 80s terraced houses. Local area grim and somewhat unlovely. We moved on after an hour as did our German neighbours but the place might serve a purpose for an over night stay.

Good for a one night stopover. Level gravel surface with acceptable drainage. Use a cable tie to keep the water tap depressed. Located in a large park with morning joggers and a backdrop of mountains. Adjacent to a fruit field and a short hop into town. Perhaps a dozen places to park. Not a tourist destination so a great place to sample the real Spain far from the Costas.

Parking in a mixed car park at the top of the town. Slightly sloping gravel surface. 3 marked bays. Short walk to the centre. Cafes bars and gift shops attracting tourists to this high town (3500 feet) in Sierra Nevada mountains. The air is conducive to curing ham hence the profusion of shops selling charcuterie. Brightly coloured rugs also seem to be a favourite in the shops. No facilities.

Superb new site in an elevated position overlooking the sea. Limited facilities - 3 toilets and showers, but who cares when the view is as good as this. Parking on gravel, reasonably flat and the site is secured at night. Bread delivery on request, one washing machine, friendly Dutch owner. Local completion should take note of this quality site.

Stayed here 2 years ago but returned in early May 19. Disappointing that for such a busy site the owners have not brought it up to date. Low hanging branches represent a hazard to tall motorhomes and the gradient may cause your vehicle to ground. Some showers are cold water showers. Gloomy and tired although long term residents seem to like it. Facilities clean although dated.

Good for overnight stop. Parking for 15+ vehicles on slightly sloping tarmac. Not suitable for vans over 7.4 metres. Watch out for the 15cm high boundary wall when parking your van. Facilities as described, a cafe opposite for breakfast. The Alcazaba is well worth a visit for scenic views and the bars and restaurants, open from 8pm, are found at the foot of the walkway leading to the fortress.

OK for a one night stopover on level tarmac surface in a fenced compound accommodating 20+ Motorhomes. No shade and unremitting heat (29 degrees) throughout the day in early May with no cooling sea influence. Town asleep during the day but wakes up at 7pm in the cooler evening when the place comes alive. Some bars, a kebab shop and a couple of grocery shops nearby but could not find a bakery.

Well maintained clean and spacious site amongst groomed pine trees with no troublesome lower branches. Parking on defined gravel pitches with water and electricity available on all pitches. Campers use own onboard facilities as there are only two showers and no toilets. Toilet and water dump. Bakery delivery, beach 300 metres and nice girl visits with brother to sell pies and cakes baked by mum.

No facilities but a good one night stopover if you wish to visit the historic centre of Loule with its bars and restaurants. The surface is slightly sloping and sandy and potholes make for a bumpy ride to your unmarked pitch. There is no shade and the parking area can accommodate 100+ Motorhomes. There was space for another 99+ Motorhomes when I visited in late April 2019.

Ok for a one night stopover. Secure in a compound locked at night. Water electricity and drainage available. It’s like parking on a disused former RAF airfield. Two bars in town and a previous posters enthusiasm for the local restaurant is misplaced.

Excellent site in a secure location with several pitches commanding a sea view. Showers and toilets are well maintained and trees on site offer shade to the majority of pitches. Barrier entry with card. Town is 5 kilometres away along a hilly windy road so not ideal for cyclists. Street noise negligible. No local shop or bars but there is a Lidl in town. Water, toilet and grey water dumps on site.

Not dissimilar to the exercise yard at Belmarsh Prison. The compound is secure, safe, spacious orderly and each of the 50+ spaces have access to water and electricity. Wifi is available. The town is littered with displays of archeological digs and Roman remains
