We visited this campsite in early June. Contrary to the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful pitches, friendly sisters, a great bar-restaurant, and the opportunity to swim in the lake after a short descent. The previously mentioned high price made us shudder a bit. But with an Asci card, we paid €27.00 per night plus tourist tax. Very reasonable for what you get and compared to other locations in Italy. All the rules, well......

Contrary to all the glowing reviews, we are a bit more critical. The location relative to Lucca is perfect. But we missed the rural atmosphere at this campsite. It was busy these days, and as a result, every spot gets utilized/filled up. Even next to the toilet block. We counted closer to 50 campers/caravans, contrary to what is stated on the site. A glass of wine upon arrival and coffee upon departure doesn't make up for everything.

Unfortunately, the weather was bad upon arrival, so that already determines the first impression. It is a fine, basic campsite, though. But it is strange that the price is almost twice as much as indicated on this app. We paid €36.50 for one night in a camper with two people, including electricity. And that is too much for this campsite. Furthermore, the ACSI card was not accepted. We have asked the owners to report this change.
