A fantastic spot on the edge of the village; go up the stairs and you are in the shopping street. Unfortunately, the spirit level was handled carelessly during the construction of this place. At the moment, the water is not drinkable due to the high iron content. Laundry has also been damaged by the high iron content.

A new water etc. terminal has been installed by now. But the cost of something and how to connect it is completely unclear: a Gardena coupling does not fit.

April '26: Isk 5800 or +/- €42.00. Well, it's a touristy place; just look for a flatter spot, otherwise use your goats. Spacious dining area with 2 kitchens/stoves. 4 spacious showers; hot water smells of sulfur, but cold water is fine! But then again, you pay top dollar for everything in Iceland (except the fuel NOW).

Very quiet place, Spanish tranquility = barking dogs in the distance, not quite disturbing, drinking water quality questionable. With the addition of the correct photos.

The photo of the rest area is okay, but the coordinates are: N 39.64882, West! 001.39471 Here too, beachgoers park their cars on the camper site despite the signs (nice in the shade!!). But it only just gets a passing grade.

End of July 2025: a Madurodam campsite with a bathtub swimming pool, spots of max. 7x7 m, of which possibly 3, just accessible for camper (up to 6.5) surrounded by chalets, 2-3 showers, clean and that for a maximum price from € 28.00

great place, quiet, no generator available, can also be used aso, if you need electricity go to a campsite or purchase solar panels
