Great stopover, thanks to the town :) all services working (including potable water). Visited the train & Casa de las Bolas museums, dont miss the 1st floor paintings. Centre is also worth visiting, through the arch. Open Blue automated laudromat on c. Burgo De Osma not far & ideal for washing bulk clothing & having a drink & snack. If you are a cat lover please bring some FOOD for the friendly stray cat that lives off motorhomers scraps :(
Sitecode: 10741
Currently everything but fresh water was working 18.10.25. There is non potable water for washing out cassettes. Had problems with the ticket machine which was hard to operate in direct sunlight, there was an attendant on site, but he did not help much! You could not ask for a more central site next to the old town. If you do park your huge pantechnicon over several spaces, you will quite rightly be charged extra, every space may be used!
Sitecode: 48000
The grumpy man at reception charged us €27 for a pitch. We went to the pitch & found it full of rocks & pieces of wood (see picture). We went back & asked for another pitch or to have it cleared, he replied "clear it yourselves"! We asked the grumpy man for our money back & he threw €27 back at us. We left the grumpy & now rude man, thinking he put another nail in the coffin of Spanish Tourism.

new aire has grey water disposal, chemical disposal & drinking water available. looks like electricity points & a barrier are being installed. Still campers parked at the previous site. Quiet at night, but construction & port noise during the day. There is a bus stop outside that goes to the ferry terminal. The ferry itself is acessible to bikes & scooters & wbeelchairs, but has a high angle on/off ramp. Tram 28 stop not far from the ferry port.
Sitecode: 103120
Great urban parking experience, suprisingly quiet. Great access straight into Porto. Glad I parked here rather than enduring a Metro experience into Porto. DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE MAPS FOR THE EXIT TO MAIN ROADS. Follow the instructions of Manuel, go right & sharp right out of the car park for the only widest road out of the area to R.DU.GEN. TORRES. 6.5 meter length tops I would recommend, & walk the above road before you drive it, if you have time
Sitecode: 160087
a convenient camper stop. Please be aware that if you come back at night from the bus stop, the pavement on the last part of the foot journey is unlit & uneven & narrow & the car drivers are fast, take a torch &/or bright clothing with you!
Sitecode: 52993
If you value your sanity & driving licence, DO NOT DRIVE through Geneva to to this site before checking the road conditions!!! One of the main bridges is closed & there are many restrictions in place on city centre roads. I had a nightmare journey, throgh Geneva!! Go from the North at all costs. It would have been nice & efficient if the site had mentioned this potential mayhem on their website.
Sitecode: 53043
We & others were charged €25 per night including services. The lot is usually guarded & the site attendant is helpful with a map. The drinking water hose looked a bit tired & well used, but at least it was well away from the casette dump, which for once was raised to waist height & easy to access. The town itself has interesting sights including the restored castle & churches & the half restored park by the sea. The old town is authentic.
Sitecode: 8648
Nice serviced camper place, It could do with the pitch services labelling properly. I assumed grey water went in the lower capped part of the service unit, along with rainwater!! Drinking water is around the back of the units. Thanks to the management for providing this site :)
Sitecode: 52257
It is a good place to go to the town via the flat road at the bottom of the campsite. The expensive pitches down there are as described, uneven, difficult to access & I am not sure what happens in the summer when the pitches are full. Some people must have to constantly move to let others on/off. The town itself held my interest for a day & it was time to move on!!
Sitecode: 43100
I am suprised a visit to the museum for 2 & a nights park up with services (inc electricity) for €25 is still not good enough for some! This museum is unusual as I suspect many of the exhibits & reserves are kept in running order. Well worth a visit if you are near the caves. For those people who snuck in late & left early I hope they send the Panzers after you!!!
Sitecode: 46274
I have no complaints! Try finding a fully serviced pitch this close to the city centre for €30! When I was there wi-fi was working & the place was reasonably clean but basic! As for the missing bread round, there is a very nice well stocked bakery just around the corner to the right. With fresh local breads & other. Next to it is the local pub with beer half city centre prices.....& locals with local music :) Pay at the pizzaria next door (KUBUS)
Sitecode: 57571
YOU MUST HAVE CASH (EURO NOTES) TO GET IN HERE!! Seen many mohos reversing & turning on the narrow entry road, because of no cash notes!! for just inside Bled its great, I used Google Maps to avoid the no entry for motorhomes route, which is a side road off the main road.
Sitecode: 269
As we arrived on a public holiday we had to go all the way up to the tourist office to pay as well rather than the local "white building) near the parking! It may say 9 places, but in reality it is 8 as most park with only 3 motorhomes on the straight side & leave no space for a 4th. A huge caravan also parked in one space!!!! Staff from the nearby clinic sat outside every night drinking & shouting until late.
Sitecode: 70271
no overnight parking signs now in the left hand bays. No motorhomes were observed parking overnight, which may mean the rules are being enforced!
Sitecode: 85757
Aside from all the other issues with this site, the resturant was full of flies on every surface, a UV zapper is desperately required. I did not eat there :(
Sitecode: 51974
Boggy in late June & a nearby camper van got badly stuck, so use the hardstanding if it is like that. In reality to get to the Tourist Office for example in the old town it is nearly a 4 mile (6.2KM) return walk from the campsite, on mainly flat roads. Closest beach is lovely & well staffed with lifeguards & cafes. There is also boat trips & aqua sports & a tourist train available in the town. Caves visit requires booking in advance, in summer.
Sitecode: 10426
PLEASE NOTE (from website) CARAVANING KOBETAMENDI CLOSES: from 01/07/24 (Monday ) 12:00am to el 18/07/24 (Thursday) Temporary parking at the exhibition centre may be available, see website for details.
Sitecode: 19274
There is confusion between the official Gijon website (72 hours stay) & the aire sign says a 48 hour stay. My observation was that the card reader keeps breaking down not the electrical outputs, so if you want electricity & the card reader is working, buy 48 hours worth if you need it. My estimate of your chances of getting an official camper space with electricity at the moment are 1%. Many spaces are blocked by long termers & empty motorhomes
Sitecode: 57904
Wifi is now switched off across the campsite & only available inside reception using only mobile phones!!! No price reduction for this loss of service though!
Sitecode: 52110
Wet & boggy when I was there, electricity supply is on a european plug socket & reverse wired!! The chemical toilet disposal is a 2 fields hike if you are at the sanitary buildings end in the field. The cliff pitches are uneven so you will need ramps. The view is nice, but you will have to work hard for it!!
Sitecode: 11887
18.6.24 The camping car park is now dug up & inaccessible for at least half the official camper spaces. Some campers are now in car spaces which seems to be tolerated. However if you are over 6 meters you will find it difficult to park in one of these without blocking the car park access roads. Very noisy also with pneumatic drills & diggers. The old town is a real gem of this city, the new parts not so much. Tram access is easy & close by :)
Sitecode: 51886
The site itself is OK, except the casette diaposal flap on the ground is not clear enough for some people, who empty their cassette into the grey water, same with the potable & cassette flush water taps, which are also mixed up by some campers. Whichever way you try the long hike into town it is up either up the coast hill or the hill on the main road! Some campers I met did not bother to attempt what I felt was this rather understated hike!!
Sitecode: 19060
As has been said, excellent place to stay for access to central Lourdes!! Two things though, firstly there are a lot of low hanging tree branches above some parking spaces, low enough to hit a camper roof! Secondly there were some unsavory looking characters using the pile of breeze blocks in the corner of the far parking space from the toilet block (see pic) to access the back of the land. I would suggest not parking in that space :(
Sitecode: 60760
I parked for the day to visit the space centre, there were several other campers around. There may or may not be a security camera covering the gate & some of the aire at times. I had no problems during my visit, and to be honest this area seems much safer than that at the nearest campsite at Le Rupe. The aire though is less secure in the sense anyone can walk in & access the campers, if they wanted & drive one out as the gate opens automatically
Sitecode: 26830
have to agree with the 1 star reviewers, this place is quite shabby for a €42 a night campsite. The camping car service facilities are dirty & wifi now only works inside reception. The only new looking equipment is CCTV cameras everywhere, reassuring or indicative of the current issues around the site :/ I stopped to visit Aeroscopia & the space centre, the drive was tricky from here for Aeroscopia but much easier for the space centre.
Sitecode: 58558
Only 3 stars as there is construction work going on near some pitches, noisy only during working hours though. Nantes itself has some interesting places to visit. I personally would not stay in this city in an unsecured place, so the campsite worked well for me!!
Sitecode: 101479
IMPORTANT: you have to register & book with aireparks in advance to stay here! Code sent did not work at the gate, so had to phone to get entry. Only the hardstanding pitches are available at present (19.5.24) so book early!! The town is a quiet place with a nice church & eateries & a pharmacy. Next to the site is a small pool & the swimming pool, but that is under reconstruction at present. Ideal stopover or base for travel, facilities working.
Sitecode: 28863
If you want a campsite this is the only show in town! I would not recommend coming here when it's very very wet, I did and changed pitches because my traction control went off on entry to the pitch, let alone exit. I was offered another pitch & backed my front wheels up on the ramps near the road for an easy roll off exit. Pitch 4 is a real doozy as there is quite a rise on entry/exit (see picture). Difficult to level also.
Sitecode: 2128
This is a well situated aire for the Atlantic wall museum, the beach & town generally. Unfortunately during my weekend stay there was no potable water available as the machine was broken down :( NB: If you want water you will also need a double male hose adaptor to plug into the dispenser!!
Sitecode: 24188
Very helpful staff & a nice site.
Sitecode: 100261
Firstly thank you to Brussels city council for organising this aire! I consider that I have been lucky to have been inserted into an area that typically sees few tourists. I sat out on the street at the bar opposite the Metro, with a few beers and observed life in this suburb, which proved very entertaining! Security was a bit hit & miss with the gate unlocked when I arrived & the gate unlocked at the other end for an event. Autoworld was fab!!
Sitecode: 68545
Yes its noisy & a bit smelly, but the centre of Ghent is totally worth it, particularly after 4 PM when most tourists leave. The number 2 tram is accessible for mobility scooters & 0.7 miles away. Make sure you get a LEZ registration for Flanders before coming in (can take up to 10 days!) which is also valid for Antwerp but not Brussels which requires a seperate registration. Some electricity points are not working but the CP is full tonight!
Sitecode: 68459
This is the only campsite that has viable access to Bilbao since the aire there is currently closed. The metro is a nearly 4KM round trip to get to the station & is a long & often crowded trip . The pool & site is overcrowded at the weekends due to people who park outside sneaking in. The sites pitches are small & scruffy & the site is difficult to navigate. The resturant is good but the wifi is poor as is the amperage of the electricity.
Sitecode: 10426
What kind of company would close their aire during peak season: from 06/29 (Wednesday) 12:00 to 07/22 (Friday ) at 12:00 ??? Ruined my plans for visiting Bilbao & no doubt yours!! There are really no viable safe or reliable camping alternatives nearby either....shocking behaviour from this company.
Sitecode: 10595
Some graffitti on the walls of the car park, but comfortable for a day park. We did not stay overnight but went to the free aire at Tarres village (5 miles away to the west) for free electricity wifi etc & came back to visit the monastery the next day!!
Sitecode: 41070
Very nice spot just outside the centre of Como, (overnight) was €4 until 8 AM the next morning. I was lucky & got a dedicated camper space. Other campers parked alongside in standard car spaces overnight without an issue. I would give 3 tips though: 1. dont park next to the volleyball section of the carpark (balls flying onto vehicles) 2. The instructions for the electricity meter are wrong (see my pic) 3. dont try to get over the grey water
Sitecode: 91681
Busy when I was there & thanks to a previous reviewer, I left sharply, just as well as the Police turned up to to check parking tickets as I was leaving. My abusive neighbour who tried to start a camp fire with wood in the car park was probably not so lucky.....karma came a calling......I think he had been there much longer than 24 hours!
Sitecode: 54780
Still open when I stayed, 24.5.22, however parking for camping cars seems to be at the front of the mixed parking lot now, with the brick paving floor, not the rear with the gravel roads. This section is now reserved for Sallion Les Bains customers with a sign (see picture). Watch your camping car on the branches of the trees, they are just the right height to dent your sides if you do not see them@!
Sitecode: 14147
I was told today 23.5.22 that this is no longer an official camper parking place. The owner said I could park for one or two days for CF30 per night. There is only a tap available now and no disposal of anything and no electricity. There is also coaches & cars parking here not campercars. One coach driver says he starts his vehicle up at 7 AM!! Better to go to the campsite up the road which is CF43 per night with all services included!!
Sitecode: 101607
Great find, quiet rural location for our camping car stay. The site is not manicured, but what it lacks in finesse is more than made up by the friendliness of the manager, price & location!! Facilities were adequate & the pitch was reasonably level, the amperage of the electricity was high. To access the beautiful Somme riverbank you turn right out of the site along the Rue de Four road to the west & then take the Rue de Farngy to the left.
Sitecode: 11446
Quiet when I was there apart from the mysterious low loader turning up then leaving around midnight. If you dont want to use the steps into town there is the alternative of a lengthy ramp system, furnished with entertaining characters when I took it. There is currently work going on at the building next to the site during the day. Only issue I had was the many rotting bin bags that were present next to the aire services & posed a health risk.
Sitecode: 41411
Bad points: Wonky, Dirty & rocky camping pitches with overhanging trees. Electricity amperage not enough to power my fridge at times. Swimming pool, unsupervised crowded & frankly dangerous. The camping car freshwater hosepipe is next to the toilet cassette washing hose pipe, with no signage, so no doubt the two have been frequently mixed up :( Toilets dirty because of overcrowding & unsupervised children. Good point: Near Versilles Palace
Sitecode: 5352
OK for a couple of nights, the infamous toilet bowl cassette disposal blew back into my face when I opened up the tap!! Intetesting but unmarked Atlantic Wall bunker building backs onto the site. This campsite marks the second time I have camped next to a nuclear reactor complex, the first being a British one. The French one is uglier but probably more powerful & efficient & is still operational....unlike the British one......
Sitecode: 100267
This is one of the best municipal aires I have ever stayed at, apart from the limited water fill, 10 minutes sounds generous but did not even 1/2 fill my tank! Arras city centre itself is highly unsuitable for those with mobility issues & using a mobility scooter was impossible. Even using a bicycle would be a challenge with high kerbs & rough sidewalks. On the plus side the free electric bus stops on the other side of the bridge from the aire.
Sitecode: 78474
The services are still not operational on the 26.4.22, so bring your own water & everything else!! The ticket machine is also not operational, so parking is free. It is possible to walk or cycle to the Dunkirk memorial & the pier many soldiers were disembarked from (helpful map & advice from the museum staff). It is not possible to park your camping car there legally it is a clearway & port authority land. So this car park is a good alternative.
Sitecode: 76533
Needs some work on it to bring up to standard. No cassette disposal and only one working cold tap at the sink for the whole camp. Also a couple of homeless guys on the site, they were fine, but the owner needs to decide if he is running a homeless shelter or a campsite. There is another guy on a bike regularly rifling through the bins, which is a security issue as he is checking out the site.
Sitecode: 52998
lovely restaurant and a great beers produced by the micro brewery attached to the bar by a direct pipe! We had the moules which were superb. Make sure you check out the steam railway nearby (Chemin de Fer à Vapeur des 3 Vallées - CFV3V) we had an unforgettable steam train ride through the beautiful Ardennes countryside and a visit to the museum during a steam weekend.
Sitecode: 22739
friendly site, £15 per night with electricity. 180/184 Bus to Manchester is £5 all day, takes approx 1.3 hours. Quicker & more expensive by tram, both involve a walk to the main road, through a slightly delapedated area. Cassette empty is behind the toilet block which was adequate but needs finishing. WIFI available. Long term campsite next door and also a tent site behind.
Sitecode: 26227
stayed one night here on the hard standing just before the beach itself (which was OK for my 6 meter van). I was originally directed into the beach which has variable degrees of hard sand, however I saw one car get stuck in the softer sand and was able to move onto the hard standing as a place came up. If it's windy there could well be a sandstorm on the beach which will get into your air filter.
Sitecode: 55689
friendly farm aire with great views and a good back up if the lighthouse car park at Hook point is windy as it was when I visited. This site offers more shelter and also now electricity for a modest €2 per night.
Sitecode: 19168
Well organised, clean and friendly site, with hardstanding pitches. A short walk takes you into Glenbeigh village with eateries and there is a beach further down the road. The Glenbeigh hotel next door to the site offers food and regular Irish music nights.
Sitecode: 64171
superb view over the coastline, but very exposed so check the weather forecast. The overnight parking system is not explained on the pay machine which only allows payment for 2 hours. If you want to stay overnight an attendant will arrive sometime during the evening and take your €10 and give you a pass for the night.
Sitecode: 14934
lovely people and well maintained and clean site owned by a Dutch couple. The owners helped us out when my husband had a medical issue. They deserve your business and to make this site work for them. Would go back anytime.
Sitecode: 3367
bad experience here, trees overhead dropping debris onto the MH. It is also used as a cycle race track by locals who came very close to my MH causing an argument. There were also a lot of footballers in cars making noise in the night. The electricity points did not work properlyand neither did the fresh water supply but it took my money. The stadt are keen to take your €6 but not repair anything.
Sitecode: 3071
I was there 5.9.16, one caravan illegally parked and a few motorhomes. Seemed safe enough & quiet for a city. You need to get water and cassette emptying around the corner so this should be done before parking, too far to walk. There is storm drains in the upper section of the park for grey water.
Sitecode: 9117
seriously, to all the moaners can you find another place between Berchesgaden and Salzberg for €14 ??? Great views and quite sociable, easy to get public transport from the town for the sights. We got the last place for a few days, so book ahead even on weekdays in September otherwise you might be turning around and heading for the costly campsite or going some distance away.
Sitecode: 41687
very friendly and helpful owners and we enjoyed the quiet (apart from some traffic noise) site in late August surrounded by greenery. The nearest tram stop is about a mile away and the shops are nearly 2 miles so you will need to plan for that. Would stay again and wish the owners well in their plans.
Sitecode: 28900
Its not clear at all how parking works here, as there are no signs. You have to go and pay at the harbour masters office and get a barrier card before you can get in. in July 2016 there was an obnoxious caravanner parked here taking up 3 spaces and blocking access to the electricity outlets. Beware of the casette cleaning hose also, its high pressure! Aarhus art centre is a must visit.
Sitecode: 18413
nice site, so quiet and a local shop nearby. facilities OK but its not clear where the black water should go. Also the electricity EHU outputs on most of the site are the large marine type and will not fit a motorhome socket!! However there are some standard ones on the wooden shed at the side of the field and we used one of those which was fine.
Sitecode: 18325
Great for Amsterdam and quieter than camp zeeberg. However I was very unhappy with the fresh water arrangements, one hose was very dirty and was being used to clean out toilet cassettes, the other hose was dangling in a bucket of dirty water, I got a stomach upset.
Sitecode: 29019
good place to stay, quiet, local shop and pub nearby. However its very exposed here so anything above a gentle wind will mean noise and even sea spray going over your van.
Sitecode: 11418
great as a motorway rest area, slightly complex to get to, and it it's position not exactly as shown on the map. Cheap and very cheerful.
Sitecode: 10552
stayed 2 nights, the second night , friday, one car of drunk youths came around shouting, and one car of dodgy looking characters came snooping. Some noise from regular 'cruisers' to the marina, quite normal in fairly lawless Sweden these days. The payment machine takes coins or cards but not notes. Marina location is lovely and swimming is possible.
Sitecode: 28326
worked out at €31 for 2 in a MH with leccy. Nice situation near the swimming beach and marina. Services are OK but WiFi is only available near the reception building.
Sitecode: 44971
Canpsite is down an 11km unmade road, which may be unsuitable for motorhomes particularly when wet!
Sitecode: 18309
well if you want a nice lakeside site near Santas...this is it! After staying at the petrol station I splashed out on this site. Pleasant staff, lovely location. Facilities very local and good, especially the communual kitchen. MH designated site is right next to the lake,
Sitecode: 30278
firstly its €5 for 24 hours electricity & parking, so no complaints. However you do have to park opposite the 24 hr lorry diesel pumps and big lorries and other drivers pull up at all hours. There is also the smell of fuel. If you dont need electricity I would stay at Santas village across the road. I also think the water tap says on it in Finnish 'not suitable for drinking'.
Sitecode: 42141
This is THE undiscovered aire in Lofoten! I would recommend it for boat enthusiasts, the Hurtigruten sails by the site, making a lovely picture! Set amongst old fishermen's sheds there is electricity available, freshwater and sewage disposal. Quiet and worth the 5 mile scenic detour off the E10.
Sitecode: 14977
Lovely views from this campsite, and it's a fisherman's paradise with hire boats gutting and barbie facilities (indoors too). Showers clean and tidy (but 10 NOK extra) and rest of the facilities good. No ACSI discount was forthcoming, so we felt yet again a misleading use of the scheme.
Sitecode: 44956
The one I stayed at is the Vestfjord hotell which cost NOK 250 including electricity hook up. It's situated opposite the other aire across the harbour. Both are cold and windy when the weather is bad and repairs are ongoing to the harbour. Good location near the magic ice and the war museum though, and good for a night.
Sitecode: 23824
The place was cleaned up and it was a lovely overnighting by the side of the lake. Get there early for the best view over the lake! 4 motorhomes present.
Sitecode: 23770
locals hidey hole......just worth it alone for the local ducks who tap their beaks on your steps for feeding. Next to a nice marina and small local commune. There is a lovey woodland walk back from/ to the commune to the aire. Birdsong in the evening. Really nice place.
Sitecode: 8315
Good value and unusual site, hot and clean showers available for an extra 1 euro, cassette emptying is basic but easy compared to some automated machines. Lovely and quiet and not to far from Rostock port. Electricity for appliances (not heating & aircon) is included. Lidl and other shopping outlets nearby. Owners don't speak English so basic German and hand signals helpful. Would recommend.
Sitecode: 3692
Now 15 euros per night plus 3.50 electricity. Nice location next to the lake, with lake swimming possible. Toilets are available for an extra 1 euro per person, everything else has to be paid for by a camping card system, even including water for washing up. This place has really taken pay as you go to a new level!!!We used the washing machines which were ok for value considering its a campsite.
Sitecode: 6019
It was very noisy all the time, and I got little sleep. One of the main issues is there is now a home for refugees right in the middle of the site, who make noise and are antisocial day and night. There are also stored vehicles which go out at 6AM and building work is going on. The water supply became polluted by work and the staff failed to notify anybody of this even though they knew it may happen.
Sitecode: 42899
I went here because there was no campsite listed for Colditz town but there is one there!! Anyway this place is rural, quiet, pleasant lots of trees and a bit stuck in time. Facilities were a bit tired but working & clean. Bike hire is available and there is a barbie area etc. Cost was €17 for 2 & camper & €2.50 for electric. Fresh Water & dumps are included in the price.
Sitecode: 3316
A mixed up jumble of locals ancient caravans and motorhomes permanently parked here, plus everybody else who feels like long term parking . An acrid smell of barbecue is in the air as many people use the park to cook in. Then a Turkish carload turned up to change a set of 4 tyres !!! Then cars of youths turned up drinking and snorting party powder... AVOID!!!
Sitecode: 12855
stayed 2 nights 9.5.16 costs €9 per night + electricity. Includes one entry to the lovely open air pools, additional adults €4.50 for a swim. Lovely quiet place, if you like open air swimming it is the best, not over commercialised but clean and well appointed for kids as well. If you are lucky you might find the generous electricity socket too ;). Only problem is the almost unusable cassette wash
Sitecode: 43832
At present 14.5.16 there is a funfair next to this site. It is the most noisy place I have ever stayed. Fair blasts out music until about 23:30 then the Drunken fights and shouting & screaming continues until 4 AM!!!! Plus there are now a few migrants hanging about the park, so much for German ordered society! Altogether a better stay at the very expensive but secure & quieter Speyer museum park.
Sitecode: 2021
handy as a stop over for Le Struthof concentration camp and electricity was great for the mini winter on 28.4.16. Staff friendly and helpful, quiet despite being near to a road and rail line, a bit difficult to get to over a couple of smallish bridges and down a slightly rough track! €6.50 includes electricity between 17:00-10:00 and a jeton for 100L fresh water & cassette empty (machine on park)
Sitecode: 9985
You would probably be hard pushed to find a better free view of the snow capped Alps and a lake to wake up to!!! Site was quiet and felt safe, local Gendarmes passed by to say hello. Not much in the village itself but a great stopover. It was not clear if the toilets on the site were for motorhome use or not, but I used them respectfully and got some fresh water.
Sitecode: 12602
Looked really bad, some idiots in a workshop next door were using a car based loudspeaker and alarms, some gypsies about and no proper allocated parking. Don't think you will get much sleep here !!!! I left and found a car park next to the football ground which was much better.
Sitecode: 24381
accepts ACSI cards so was €17.50 per night with electricity. Fair walk to the main bus station but Grenoble is worth it, particularly the cable car trip. The local town has a nice square and a lovely park and chateau. Facilities were very good and regularly cleaned, the lady owner is putting a lot of effort into the site to make it appealing.
Sitecode: 2037
quiet at night, but the community centre is used as a children's after school centre so was noisy then and make sure you park in the right place at the back or you get moved!!! Village itself has several wine producers to visit and a helpful tourist info. Buses for Dijon stop regularly in the town, so handy for a day visit. All Facilities working on 25.4.16
Sitecode: 15890
works out at €24 per night with a camper and 2 people and 6 amp electricity. The main bus stop to Lyon (C10) is probably 2 or more kilometres away, so don't believe it's any closer !!! The infrequent 78 bus stops right outside the site and connects with the C10 at St. Genis-Gadagne, so unless you want a major hike each way get that connecting bus! The site is in the suburbs and quiet.
Sitecode: 14298
currently 19.4.16 all services not working, but owner let us stay the night without charge. Beautiful location by the quiet lake, only available as a night stopover between 18:00 and 10:00. Parking elsewhere by the lake forbids overnighting by motorhomes!

Closed on 18.4.16, looked like it had been closed for a long time as well. There are some houses being built directly opposite the aire, so this may be why it is still closed as the construction traffic has to use the same difficult and narrow road as the aire. Make sure you take the main bridge to get there to not the narrow one marked 3.5 tons!!!!

Nice site, free electricity was working on 13.4.16 with 3 points available. As well as the MH accessory shop nearby there is also a range of shops including a large supermarket. All water and disposal facities are working, also. Nice view over fields on one side with cows, probably room for up to 6 or so vans if everybody cooperates on parking.

Quite difficult to get to and out of on a narrow road with a bus service hurtling down on the other side!!!! I had A very close encounter with said bus!! Good security, WIFI a bit iffy when I was there. bus service to the city is close by & OK but requires 2 metro changes to get to the old port. Basically part camper park part storage site, but the ONLY show in town for campers!!! So book early.

OK for the price, shower and toilet facilities good, security very good, with good gated access. The washing machine facilities were not great with an old machine and considering its for motorhomes there was no proper black/grey water disposal and cleaning facilities, Which needs addressing. But it's cheap for this area and offers close access to the town and a regular nearby bus service to Cannes

nice site, although Garmin took me the back route up a farm track off the main road, so make sure you approach from the signposted side!!! Cost 7.4.16 €10 incl electricity and free Wifi, which has a good speed. You don't need to phone if you arrive during working hours just use the intercom at the gate. Well kept and friendly staff.

Nice chilled vibe even on Easter Monday, heavily frequented by German, Dutch and British campers. €19 with ACSI card water & 240v services on pitch included. Free bus to Barcelona gets busy on holidays so make sure you book it at reception. Reception Staff very helpful and a good WiFi signal around the camp. Good alternative to the city campsites.

26.3.16 Seemed safe enough, well lit, bit dirty with litter but the black water and potable water facilities were all working. Some dog noise and a bit of noise from the car wash opposite. local police do an infrequent patrol. Many people park on the beach just after the golf course a few kms south of the main town and after a service if you like to sleep by the sea that's probably a good option.

absolutely heaving on the Easter weekend with kids and parents and motorhomes and very noisy. The water was off the second time I went to use the 3 euro facilities, and the shop was heaving !. Both the access roads I took off the main road were very narrow in places and quite bumpy so be alert. Saw the flamingos which was great.

popular free stop, in nice surroundings by a large lagoon. Entry road from the south is a bit lumpy and narrow in places. Shop has bike hire and ice creams. Nice flat cycle paths and walks around the lagoon and surrounding area. Water is not locked so a watering can fill is possible! We stayed longer than expected!

Stayed march 2016. Scruffy looking aire with definitely NO electricity, there is no live feed to the electricity box or light it is mounted on! This scruffy & weird town does have a saving grace, the modern art museum !! Go up the hill on the aire, turn left, then turn right on the main road, keep walking and you will find it. Free entry. The local junta spent all their tax money on this project!

21.3.16 very noisy site, kids, people turning up well past 11 PM and lots of banging doors and engines being run. Prices are now €10 for a basic pitch and €15 for a pitch with 4 amp electricity. We witnessed a pickpocket incident on the metro line from the camp and a guy was hanging around the station trying to scam campers. Be very careful on the metro. Certainly not the cheap quiet site!!!!

Did a stop over here just before the weekend before Easter, lovely campsite for the money and indeed free clothes washing facilities.....a first for me. Be aware the rear entrance (where my sat nav took me) maybe unmanned and you have to wait or phone for the attendant. Very nosy with kids during the pre Easter weekend.

OK next to the harbour wall, graffiti and a bit of noise from fishermen and harbour workers and locals. Electric is a bit iffy, you have to leave a €40 deposit for the convertor or a passport etc. Adjacent Beach is OK but gravelly, town itself offers plenty of bars etc, but not a lot to hold you here. The 'plastic city' you pass for miles is the environmental price to pay for winter tomatoes.

Unfortunately I could not get to this site on a Sunday as the locals had blocked the access road with badly parked cars! I was told this is not unusual, I tried from another way but was met with a one way system! Be advised!

OK as a stop over but that's about it, one beach bar in the vicinity which is about 300 metres to the right as you go out of the main gate. Unfortunately the adjacent beach is full of dog mess and not really a pleasant place to be. I would have gone to the campsite to the west but the locals had blocked the access road with parked cars.

Good facilities but very noisy an night, at least when I was there on 12.3.16 but it was the weekend. However it is next to a football ground and bars etc and a fairly busy road. Town itself has a lovely castle and churches to visit, and is a clean well looked after prosperous looking place and a good example of how to run a town for the benefit of its inhabitants!

Good stop for the ferry, very secure site with EHU if you want it.
Sitecode: 29018
for the money it is fine, facilities all work and well maintained, also free Wi-Fi from the town system, nice town to visit, we stayed longer than expected. Staff helpful and friendly.
Sitecode: 43226
Quite shabby in places and expensive when I went, in Feb 2016, also no heating in the showers. But worked out only slightly more expensive (with EHU) than the local aire once you had added in the cost of day & night parking plus water and WC emptying at the aire.

OK but washing machine did not work and its a long bus ride into Porto. They are misleading about accepting CCI as they no longer do despite what it says on their website. Unfortunately the closest campsite is abandoned and I chose not to stay in the Porto Aires as it was winter and there were few vans about, so this was the best alternative.

When I went in early March 2016, this place was full of dodgy local self appointed car park attendants. One guy put the barrier back up to the parking space as I was backing up (as he wanted paying as well) and only my wife banging on the back of the Van stopped the bumper being ripped off!!! I left as it felt unsafe here with all these Dodgy looking guys hanging around.
Sitecode: 29490
I really liked it despite the top dog of the village trying to bite off my van tyres as I drove in. Just make sure if you arrive at night you don't drive into one of the low wooden cross members across some of the parking bays!!!! Yes and there is only 1 tap for everything, so take an alternative water supply. Lovely to go to sleep listening to the sea.

Aire is basic but handy for the town and is being improved. Town itself is a good example of how the Portuguese can turn a nice mediaeval town into an awful gawdy tourist trap.
Sitecode: 14248
Safe, good facilities by the Van but expensive. Bus was a walk away, in a slightly dodgy looking area at night. Staff were unhelpful explaining properly where the bus stop is. Go out of the gate turn right and keep walking 300 meters, bus to town is on the opposite side over a worn out crossing. Do not even think about wild camping in central Lisbon, loads of dodgy people about.

I stayed here on 5.3.16, no clear markings as to where MH's should stay, but it was OK , this is the closest aire to the old town entrance. There is a tap next to the closed toilet facility otherwise I went to the good service facilities at the nearby Intermarche. Most Motorhomers stayed at the slightly further away arches aire. It was noisy at 4am with music and some shouting, Saturday night!!!!
Sitecode: 30084
Bit scruffy but cheap and friendly and everything works. WiFi is OK speed wise and if you have a booster otherwise it's sitting at reception. Sleepy Town itself is off the tourist trail and has a nice free castle to visit with great views. Nearby Intermarche has an outdoor launderette..... yes really , and a cheap sandwich deal, excellent!

nice location but can be noisy at night when they are maintaining the boats. EHU set up is unusual as mine was 25 metres over the side of the marina on a boat hook up!!! Avoid being by the boat lift if you can as it starts at 8AM when I was there. Take the 140/143 bus into town at €1.55 and mind the driver does not try to overcharge you! Better than the other car park Aires.
