Sorø Municipality, DenmarkResponse from the owner: We have had our spot since 2011, which originated from a call by the Danish motorhome association for quiet overnight spots off the highway. Our guests particularly appreciate the peace and simplicity: a simple check-in and check-out, free choice of pitch, and a dog-friendly walking path around the field. Everything here is based on mutual trust, and we only meet friendly, warm-hearted people. We are honored by this recognition and will simply continue as we are.
Darum Camping
Esbjerg Municipality, DenmarkResponse from the owner: It is an honor to win the Campercontact Award 2026 Denmark, especially because it is our guests who have reviewed Darum Camping. It is wonderful that our guests, who consist mainly of adults, have appreciated our beautiful, quiet campsite, which we have been running for 21 years, so much. Darum Camping is situated in a mature deciduous forest, with beautiful nature that many guests appreciate. Darum Camping is located close to the Wadden Sea National Park. From here, there are good opportunities to cycle to Ribe, Esbjerg, and Fanø, among other places, which many of our guests enjoy taking advantage of.

Guests particularly appreciate our hospitality and cleanliness; we receive a lot of praise for the sanitary building. We are extremely proud of this award: a huge compliment for all the work we have put in, the icing on the cake. In the future, we want to continue growing, including with a field for hikers.
WOMO-Stellplatz Eltern

With us, every guest is treated equally, no matter which country or city they come from; we are happy with everyone who visits us and simply remain who we are. Every evening, we take a walk around the campsite for a chat; that personal contact is greatly appreciated. With us, there are no expectations; it is all about relaxing and enjoying yourself. This award means a lot to us: a wonderful confirmation that we can remain true to who we are.

We have been open since May 2025, after a long process that we, as a family, largely constructed ourselves, with the help of family and friends. We live on the premises, enjoy having a chat, and offer tips about the surrounding area. Guests enjoy the tranquility, the spacious pitches, and our tame sheep. This award feels like a wonderful recognition of all the love and energy we have put into it.

Our guests, from Portugal to Finland, appreciate the tranquility of nature without feeling isolated, and with guests over 18, it is wonderfully quiet here. In the mornings, we love getting fresh baguettes and croissants. This award comes as a real surprise and feels like a wonderful recognition of the work and the lovely atmosphere we have created.

Guests are enthusiastic about our welcoming, family-like atmosphere: in the evenings, campers of all nationalities gather around a large table to share stories. The pitches are spacious; it feels like camping in a large garden, complete with two super sweet dogs and a free-roaming pig. For the future, we are working on a larger swimming pool and a sun terrace.

During our pizza and pasta nights, complete strangers come in and leave as friends, and that sense of connection makes La Luna special. Being named one of the best in Italy feels incredible. We continue to make the place more beautiful every year, but deliberately keep it small and intimate.
