A fairly large campsite. With spacious pitches. Modern sanitary facilities, however, a urinal is missing and the mixed (men's and women's) toilets only have their fixed porcelain rims, making them impossible to keep clean, especially since no toilet paper is provided. There is, however, a mini-restaurant and shop, gas cylinders, etc.

When we drove onto the site, someone quickly came outside: it was full. And there were only a few spots for campers and caravans, just cottages; he offered to make a quick call to something else nearby, and he succeeded: in Hio, there was plenty of space at Camperplaats, a 7-minute drive away. So, after a difficult turn around, we went back up the steep road to the main road.

This looks like a campsite where only regular guests are welcome. The gate was still locked when we stood in front of it today (June 3, 2026), and there was no sign whatsoever regarding opening hours.
