A bit of faded glory. The sanitary facilities are severely outdated. The shower was warm, but there is a solar water heater on the roof and we were the only ones there. There is a small playground and football pitch, electricity and a water tap. There is a fridge and a washing machine. Fine for staying a night (or more) for a visit to Mount Etna.

You drive onto it via a public car park. Upon arrival, the gate opens and you are greeted by a nice, jovial man who is willing to do anything for you. Showers and toilets are clean. A washing machine is available. It is quiet there. Within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. We found it a lovely place to stay overnight for ā¬23.00, electricity included.

Nice, clean, guarded parking lot. We were received very kindly when we got off the boat late in the evening and were given a small map with the sights of the old town, which is a fifteen-minute walk away. The gate closes at midnight. There is a clean toilet and a hot shower for a fee of ā¬1.00; cold is free, as is filling your drinking water and emptying the chemical toilet. Electricity is included for ā¬25 per day.
