Very quiet campsite with mainly guests who stay for the long term. In the middle of the fields stands a characteristic farmhouse where time seems to have stood still. Close to the nature reserves of the Zwarte Polder, the Zwin, and the Blikken. The sanitary facilities are outdated but very clean. Friendly welcome.

Long weekend in Winterswijk, camping at Camping Vreehorst, a perfect mix of peace, nature, and plenty of water fun in both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Many walking and cycling opportunities nearby.

Small-scale campsite in Kluisbergen on the edge of the Kluisbos, ideal for walking and cycling. Time seems to have stood still a bit at the campsite itself; the pitches are smaller, but otherwise it is certainly fine. There is a cozy cafeteria on the campsite itself, with several lovely terraces and dining options within walking distance. We paid €27 for one night including electricity. If you want to shower, you need one-euro coins.

It was quite busy there, not a single spot left. Some pitches are larger than others, so if you are arriving with a large camper, make sure to book a larger pitch. We paid €38.50, so quite a bit more than what is listed here on the website. We were able to take a nice walk in the nature reserve and there is also plenty to do by the lake. There are too few toilets; showers and water for washing dishes require an additional charge.

Beautiful nature campsite, situated in a very quiet location. The last 800 meters to the campsite are a gravel walk, as it can be quite narrow. We could only pay in cash or via PayPal. We stayed for 2 nights, enjoyed the peace and the view, and would definitely be recommended.

Nice, well-maintained campsite, everything is in good order, restaurant nearby, bus to the city centre 500m away; buy a day ticket for 6 pounds and you can take multiple buses in the city to various places. The only downside was that we were assigned a pitch that wasn't on gravel, so on the grass, but these pitches weren't numbered. We were close to some English people who had the same problem and we had a good laugh about it :)

Nice camper site, but there is still work to be done. The electricity poles were quite wobbly, the toilet was in a container, and the toilets/showers in the building were fine but very old-fashioned. They are still working hard to improve it. The view is beautiful, though.

We parked our camper next to the mobile homes, which made it just slightly less sociable. It was a beautiful campsite, everything was neat and in order. Having the toilets and shower in the same cubicle was a bit strange, which meant it was sometimes quite busy, but fortunately not too far to the other building. It is within walking distance of Pitlochry, which is definitely worth a visit. We also got the last available spot.

Beautiful, recently built campsite with varying elevations; if you are lucky, you will get a pitch with a stunning view. All facilities were more than satisfactory. We were a little early to check in, but this was not a problem.

Here you are left standing alone to enjoy the view. The toilets and showers use a code that doesn't work 3 out of 4 times. The toilets and showers were very dirty, and the check-in was rushed. It's a shame; something so beautiful could be made of this place.

Beautiful campsite, all facilities were in good order, friendly welcome. You can walk to the village along the footpath; the campsite itself could use a few more plants, the campsite has a rather open appearance, but it is fine.

We had planned to stay at the campsite next door, Glenn Nevis, but it was "supposedly" full; however, we could stay here for 15 pounds. Very friendly host with nice pitches but no facilities. You get a code for the gate if you want to get back in after hours, so we went to check out the campsite next door late in the evening and there were at least 10 camper pitches still available...

Quiet motorhome site with very spacious pitches; for this price (€25), it is very reasonable. The sanitary facilities were disappointing: 2 toilets and 2 showers for 24 pitches, and if someone takes a shower, the toilet is not free. The pitches themselves are also disappointing; they are certainly spacious enough, but the grass could be shorter. There is also a lot of weeds on most pitches, and the hedges could definitely use some trimming.

Beautiful camper pitch, very quiet, all amenities available. Very quiet, ideal for those who enjoy walking and cycling.

Very friendly welcome, the campsite is as good as new and the sanitary facilities are very clean, all amenities are available, ideal for walking and cycling in the area and for going for a nice meal within a 1km walk!

Very friendly welcome, nice campsite, the standard camper pitches are not really big, sanitary facilities are clean. For this price (35 euros) you expect just a little more. One and a half kilometers from the beach. A food truck and an ice cream cart came by.

In itself, a nice campsite tucked away at the end of a quiet street on a busy road with quite a few permanent residents. The welcome was friendly, the campsite is laid out so that all campers are in a single row which I liked, there is a fishing pond and a nature reserve at the back. Ooidonk Castle and the associated walking route nearby are certainly worth a visit. The sanitary facilities are dated. For this price of a campsite, you expect just a little more.

Just under 50 motorhome pitches and it was almost completely full; additionally, there were quite a few motorhomes on the camping pitches. Stunning location, able to take beautiful walks, sanitary facilities were fine, but 3 toilets for so many motorhomes is really very few. Otherwise everything was fine, unfortunately quite expensive compared to other motorhome sites with the same facilities, but definitely worth it.

A warm welcome; our spot was already marked with a sign with our names on it. After settling in, we received a tour from the owners. Sanitary facilities, toilets, showers, kitchenette with a microwave, and local products available. There is also a sandwich service, and since it was my wife's birthday, I ordered breakfast, which was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful campsite, no separate pitches, and limited sanitary facilities for the available pitches. Unfortunately, the bakery wasn't available. It would be helpful if this was displayed on the website beforehand, as well as more information about nearby attractions. The welcome was minimal; you receive a token and your pitch is assigned, that's it.

We stayed there this weekend, the weather was beautiful, and the people at the campsite were very friendly. The pitches were large and paved, with a private picnic table for campervans. The showers and toilets were excellent. The only downside is that the campervan pitches are close to the railway line, which can be a bit noisy, but at night in the campervan, it was very manageable.

A very nice camper site, peaceful surroundings, beautiful nature, summer bar right across from it, and a flower garden nearby. The forest isn't really a forest yet, but it's still beautiful. It's a shame Fluvius had to cut through it for the gas pipeline.

Impossible with a campervan, very narrow turns to the pitches. The sanitary facilities for a 4-star campsite could be significantly better. Most of the container homes are rented here. There aren't many places left to camp.

No longer exists, spoke to new owner and it was taken over.

Ideal to explore Venlo by bike or bus, had a nice meal in the bistro. During the day the highway is quite disturbing, maybe the wind was wrong, but at night it was no longer audible.

Nice camper place, everything present that needs to be present. Had a chat with Marijn. Ideal for walking and cycling in the area.
