This site is 20M from a very busy main road. When we arrived the traffic noise was very loud so we decided not to stay but came to the city camp site instead. Much quieter and very new and clean services.

We didn’t stay here as it was too expensive. Price for 2 people and van second half of June is €45 plus tax €3 (€48 per night total). This is just taking the Micky! Went back to Area Sosta Camper at Brentonico for €10 plus electricity.

A great site. Friendly owners and excellent facilities. With ACSI card, we paid 24€ per night including electricity and taxes. The terraces are very tight, so long vans may struggle.

Beautiful situation in the mountains. We weren’t sure if it was still open as not reviewed since 2019. Signage is a bit confusing but this is definitely a private Camper Plotz and the owner (son of the elderly woman mentioned) will come and collect your money (phone if not). Price of 9€ hasn’t increased in the last 10 years. This includes electricity, water, waste disposal, all of which still function even if a bit tired. An idyllic spot.

This is a great stop-over before going France to Italy. quiet at beginning of June. Lovely walking over Devils bridge to the forts. Spectacular gorge. no facilities but free.

working properly. the water tap has no handle so you need a tool to turn it on (I used a pair of pliers). I didn’t use the waste disposal but it appeared to be working properly.

we stopped here en route for services. a bit out of our way. Unfortunately the services weren’t working. The black waste disposal was overflowing and very smelly with lots of flies. A “not working” sign wasn’t terribly helpful. no water you could connect a hose to. A shame as quite a nice spot and looks as if it would be quite quiet.

Came here last year. Still no change today. 5 stars because : quiet; large space; beautiful views and working facilities, all free including electricity. great stop off.

This site is free and has beautiful views. Quite high at 1555 M. The temperature dropped from 23 degrees to 16 on the climb. The water source is hand pumped so you need a container. There is a toilet but it is “dry” so no black waste disposal. The only downside is a 20 minute drive up to the col, better than doing it on a bike though.

Well laid out, clean , quiet with services and toilets nearby. Pitches are flat. Town and chateau 500m walk. Currently free but possibly will charge when finished. Recommended.

Simple free wild camping with no services. Lovely views if a little exposed and windy. Very quiet. We had a very enjoyable 12km circular walk to the Chateau at Vézins-de-Lévézou on a long distance walking path. Owner here was very friendly. Great place for an overnight stay.
