We come here almost every month now, sometimes for a day, sometimes a bit longer. We bring our motorcycles and dogs, it's an ideal base for a quiet campervan ride, motorbike rides, delicious food at Da Mario in the village, and a bakery within walking distance. There's electricity, but you do need to put coins in the machine! The manager comes by every day to pay for the pitch. We do accept cash, but it's super friendly!

Beautiful surroundings! Water and electricity are available. No restrooms, but hey, that's what a campervan is for! The campsite itself places small pitches, but in October there was plenty of space. A beautiful, clear lake on the other side. A 4-minute walk through the tunnel near the car park. Wonderfully quiet, and you'll hardly notice any traffic below, especially in the evening. Beautiful location on a mountaintop, so there are plenty of sights to see!

Modern restroom facilities with two automatic flush toilets, and yes, even toilet paper! The two showers are small but provide adjustable hot water. There's also a section where you can do your dishes with hot water. Some of the campervan pitches are paved, while others are grassy. We were over 12 meters long with a trailer and found plenty of space. Highly recommended! Quiet location, with the village center within walking distance.

Arrived this afternoon, spacious pitches, and because it's low season, not only campers but also cars with caravans are welcome. We have a camper and trailer and were fortunate to find a spacious spot. Toilets, showers, and dishwashing areas are available and open until October 30th. Sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, and there's electricity on the pitch. Showers are hot, but you have to press the button repeatedly to stop the water. Otherwise, a nice place.

we stayed here for 1 night on February 2, 2025, no problems with loitering youth or the like, lovely quiet night. On the other side are boats moored, swans and ducks and a nice busy park during the day. no facilities except electricity

beautiful spacious, paved places and in a beautiful area. and nice and quiet. Around the corner you can visit the dolmens. Sanitary facilities are closed from September to April I believe, but electricity is available. definitely a place to come back to!

Beautiful quiet location, completely free! No toilets or waste bins available, but free electricity. Close to the center. View over the vineyards... beautiful building and surroundings. definitely worth it

quiet beautiful green surroundings.. at least end of January. Little traffic. Camper place looks neat and tidy. There is a sanitary building, downside only toilets and don't expect too much! in French so to speak. For a place like this you can expect better sanitary facilities... therefore 3 stars

arrived this afternoon, got a coin at €3.10 for 12 hours of electricity from euro-relais, 250 meters from the parking lot. Fortunately there was a Spaniard who spoke broken English and could help with paying as the machine only accepts Spanish cards! Exchanged cash for his card payment. Jaton thrown in the electricity column ... does not work!! Place is beautiful but it would be nice if everything worked properly especially if you pay for it

Visited Jan 22, 2025. Safe, lovely camper place...is busy so early arrival recommended. Walking distance from historic center and castle walls. Center is not accessible by vehicle (or bicycle). Had a delicious meal at one of the restaurants where we had the entire restaurant to ourselves because we used to eat like the Portuguese themselves. Town is really recommended...be sure to be in good shape! Camper place is great!

NL owners (Angela & James) and staff. Super hospitable, top service! Just call/app with Angela and you will get a clear route to the finca. Warm welcome on arrival, decided not to stay 1 but 2 nights to be present for dinner together with other campers. Great food, 5 course dinner!! Top atmosphere & coziness! James is really a top chef!! Luxurious, atmospheric, neat, clean, hospitable: 10!! will definitely come back!

busy camper place... but despite busy still wonderfully quiet (at least at this time of year). we did not use the facilities but they are there. Beautiful surroundings... nice for hikers, birdwatching etc.

super! The road to it is super fun, beautiful and challenging! We thought for a moment 'are we in the right place?!' but the coordinates of the app are spot on! Super friendly, hospitable Dutch managers. They immediately came to introduce themselves and show us around. We had not made a reservation (although recommended) but for 1 night it was no problem. Good facilities, spacious place lovely spacious shower and toilet, quiet place on top of the mountain.
