The couple running the site very friendly, helpful and work hard for the guests. the site faces the river, some great spots or the countryside. large plots, good shading trees, swimming place possibly the best along this section of the river. showers/toilets clean if not a little old. bread service bar available with snack bar ( peak only) low season office open 5-6pm, get a space and pay later. We stayed for two nights as traveling back home.

a lovely site, stayed here on 2 separate occasions previously. great space for motorhome cost reasonable and they take the ACSI discount card. has a cafe snack bar open Thurs to Sunday. (june). the best thing it is on the river and one of the best places to swim (or foat). there is a kayak hire place within yards, and a lovely grass picnicking area just off the river beach. Cycle opertunities both sides of the river for all abilities..

this is a camping Car park, with plenty of spaces but as newly created the ground can be uneven and just on dirt in places. next to the river a very popular place to swim. the railway line us close by, check map, and trains are very regular and through rhe night. great for those yrain spotters out there, village beautiful but little else. 8 out of 10 from use. June 2025

quiet large site, village in walking distance of bars and restaurants. toilets all clean and looked after, friendly welcome, good access. can't access bea h but swimming pool nearby.
