The campsite is beautiful by the water with beautiful places. note: you are not allowed to go past a hopeless line with your dog, not even on a leash. Those people have to stand one place further back. We had called that we were coming with a dog, but then they don't tell you. If there is no place anywhere else with the group we were with, that is not nice. Why not a leash-free area so that you can swim/fish/sit with your dog on a leash

Lovely quiet campsite, easy to reach the center by bike. Nice people. Many permanent places, but everything is neatly clean and you can take great walks directly in the nature reserve next door. Eat at a tent that overlooks the harbor on the other side of the road instead of near the water. Much tastier and saves 60%! A 1.5-hour boat trip is also recommended! The other campsite turned out to be full, but afterwards we were more than happy with this place.

Lovely place, two fields next to each other with picnic tables, waste bins and toilet. Cows passed by and sheep. The only annoying disadvantage is the enormous number of gadflies, hornets and mosquitoes. Can't do without deet. No walking options

Top spot with a view. Along the road, but greater distance. To remember for next year

We found the place a bit messy and continued driving.

Super place. No facilities, number of beautiful hiking trails. Lots of mosquitoes. There are a number of places near the water, but also a little further on a place with two picnic tables (that's where we stood).

super place with many options to stand in different corners. There is even a latrine in a corner of the forest. Only busy on weekends with Norwegian fishermen and tents

Very nice place. No prohibition signs above or below, at the camper place it's fine to stand alone (now only wind force 8, that was too much). Gausta is really great and you can also enjoy walking near the waters. Beautiful. Only a waste bin, during the day you can go to the toilet at the Banen.

Beautiful view of the Gausta and mountain with rocks. Beautiful green lawns and neat sanitary facilities. Electricity requires a long cord. 19 euros for 1 night. water, but no disposal and chemical. Dutch speaking people. Walking with your dog is of course limited, which is of course what you do in the mountains. Beautiful on the Gausta, great train and wonderful surroundings. At Gaustabanen you can easily stand alone with your camper and a wonderful base, but now there is a lot of wind
