We have been here about four times for about a week with our small camper. We have enjoyed it every time. The fact that this was the last time is only because we have to stop our trips due to our age and associated inconveniences. We will continue to cherish our memories. The walks we took from here are part of those memories...

Good stopover between Burgos and the center or south of Portugal. Friendly welcome, not expensive, very quiet. Facilities in order. Decent cafeteria/restaurant on site, small supermarket close by.

Great city camping, recommended. Friendly host, good facilities, beautiful grounds in a somewhat dilapidated part of town. You don't notice anything on the site itself. Administrator is right that two nights is enough. The day in between is enough to look around the city.

Especially annual places. The field for tractors is not level and adjusting blocks are sinking. Sanitary clean, but largely defective. Too expensive (€34/night) for what is offered.

Canelas not only offers a motorhome site, but is also a great campsite, and deserves to be listed in that category.

Great campsite. Just don't count on the bus to/from the center. Just like last year, the bus just didn't come. A taxi is not very expensive. With four people not more expensive than the bus. It is also a good walk to the city.

We've been coming here for years, always a few days passing through. A beautiful site, in my opinion one of the most beautiful in Portugal. Plenty of opportunities for shorter or longer walks, also close to the site. Permanent staff is somewhat formal, but friendly and helpful. The young trainees(?) were less customer-oriented this year than we are used to. Could covid have disrupted the courses?

Camper place with "everything": electricity, toilet, shower. The beach nearby, a supermarket a little further away.

Quiet, clean. Great restaurant within walking distance, near the lock. Nice to cycle or walk in the area. Small shop in the town, large supermarket a little further away (about 5 km).

Pleasant campsite. Shops and eateries close by in the town. Quiet and clean.

The campsite turned out to be closed (October 2021), according to people in the vicinity that was for good. Shame as it was an enjoyable place for one or two nights.

Beautiful grounds and nice environment, managed by very sweet people, who provided very adequate support in "the days of corona". Definitely planning to come back here in more normal times.
