This is a lovely campsite about 30 minutes bike ride from the Kinderdijk windmills. The facilities are clean and the showers are big with lots of hot water. You have to pay 1 euro for 5 mins. It can get pretty windy at times in this area. Right next door is a wonderful baking supply shop with a cafe. It’s housed by a full sized windmill. Very nice and accommodating staff. Recommended.

Nice quiet place right by the river. The notice board (written in German only) indicates that they charge extra for electricity, but it doesn’t seem to be metered. I plugged in and was good to go. We didn’t need the facilities but, from what we could tell, toilets and showers were closed. There is a great view of Stolzenfels Castle from some sites and a bike path just outside the campsite.

This is a really lovely setting, right by a little marina for row boats. We had a couple of bars of 3G cell service while here. Peaceful setting. Although there are public bathrooms, as previously reported, they were locked.

This was a wonderful overnight stay for us in our motorhome. It’s quiet and has an 8km walking trail. The portable toilet was unusable when we were there. It was completely stuffed with paper. That is the only issue we had.
