Rarely do you feel as well cared for as at this (admittedly) somewhat dilapidated-looking campsite. Once you arrive – ideally parked by the water – you'll find it impeccably maintained and thoughtfully equipped. A fantastic fire pit will surely make many an evening last longer. The beautiful bathing bay offers nature lovers a refreshing dip and the chance to experience the thrill of using the retro watercraft. Thanks, Stefan, those were some very relaxing hours!

Hello dear nature lovers. This place actually deserves full marks, but when we wanted to visit this wonderful campsite again last year (2024), the access road and bridge had been swept away by a storm, making it impossible to visit the campsite (which is the sole reason for the point deduction). Can anyone tell us whether the access road has been repaired and the site is open to traffic?

What do we give the stars for here? 5 stars for silence right on the lake, hospitality, nature, you rarely get that in Germany. A little deduction for older sanitary facilities. If you want peace and quiet and love nature, this is the place for you - don't forget your binoculars. The site is open until October 20, 2024!

At Richard's you can see in every corner that someone has put a lot of thought into it and is a loving host: in the midst of impressive nature, all pitches have a fantastic view, there are communal areas with seating areas, a great lounge, clean sanitary facilities with towels and clotheslines and much more - everything has been thought of and yet it is still understated and puristic.
