A delightful campsite in the Drôme. Small and well-organized. Friendly and helpful staff. A lovely pool. A very relaxed atmosphere that perfectly suits the campsite's name. Very popular, so reservations are essential. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, not really suitable for large campervans, but perfectly suited our VW van.

What a wonderful campsite run by Hanspeter and Eva Hofer. A very friendly welcome, and because it kept raining, everyone received schnapps and apple pie. Beautiful pitches and views. With the (free) guest card, you get free public transport throughout the valley. Highly recommended!

Everything about this campsite is top-notch: location, pitches, sanitary facilities, hospitality, restaurant, and, of course, the price. It's definitely worth it. Reservations are required.

Call ahead and there's sure to be a spot. Nice, spacious pitches, excellent restrooms, and a friendly owner. Free bus transportation to places like Lunersee.

Camping as it should be: small, well-organized, excellent sanitary facilities, friendly owners, and very affordable. Just 100 meters from the lake.

We have been able to experience quite a few campsites over the past decades; Barendonk is now in our top 3! Everything a nice campsite needs is available: nice people, nice and spacious (12x12m!) pitches, clean sanitary facilities, play areas for the (grand)children, green label... and so on. And don't forget the versatile environment. In short: recommended!

Very nice reception and especially for us T4tje 1st class place with full view of the Lake. Facilities more than fine. Place to go back to.

Great campsite! Spacious pitches - for us beautiful on the river. Everything spick and span, many amenities and close to the village. Recommended.

For the second time on this wonderfully quiet and above all very well maintained and clean campsite. Very spacious pitches and excellent facilities on the campsite. Hospitable reception. Great base for getting out and about by bike. I really recommend it!

Surprisingly beautiful campsite! We stood with our T4 on an undefined part of the campsite with a view of the castle. The other pitches are marked out in the grass by means of white tiles, although spacious, but we would not like to be there. The plumbing os recently renewed and deserved and 10! For the rest, just drive in - or raise the gate. Checkout later and then pleasantly surprised .... recommended

Surprisingly beautiful and pleasant campsite! Friendly welcome by a Dutch couple. Nice sheltered place; enough space for our T4 and small tent. Sanitary simple, clean and in order. Directly at the swimming lake. Nice environment: everything nearby. Recommended again!

Cool campsite with beautiful, spacious and unique pitches. Plenty of shade. Friendly welcome by Dutch owners. Ability to eat. Nice base for walks. Lovely river and natural shower under the waterfall behind the campsite. Recommended!

We have been here for 3 nights; what a cool campsite! Huge places (200-400m2!). All round view of the mountains. Enthusiastic family of managers who not only speak excellent English but can also cook deliciously (including pizza). Sanitary somewhat dated but adequate. Downside? Noise from nearby camping Pinede until 11 pm sharp! But all benefits win; so in our top 10!

Great campsite for the road. Beautiful spacious places. Simple but sufficient sanitary. Directly on Rhône and near a nice town.

We have been here at De Rotten for 4 nights; find a spot! Nice (Dutch) reception. Very good sanitary- 8 minutes shower for 1 Fr. is very long. Great base for cycling along the river, with train (station 10 'walk) to Aletsch glacier, etc. In short: wonderfully quiet, orderly and clean campsite. From now on in our top 10!

Camping is more like a CP. Everything automated using cash register. Everything with coins! View is ok. As well as sanitary. Great for stopover.

In contrast to motorhome parking at Oberalpas, enough space for a place with an amazing view. It is not clear where and how many campers. In practice there were / are campers everywhere, also just along the road. No provision whatsoever. But you take that up!

Between the many permanent pitches indeed an amazing view all around! Nice manager who still indicated a spot. Our T4 just fit in .... Excellent sanitary for Swiss price.

Great campsite! Because of Corona nice place - normally large bungalow tents. Now wonderfully spacious and quiet place and fully enjoy the many birds. The campsite has beautiful, clean and well-organized sanitary facilities. Dutch crew makes it just a little bit easier. The campsite is located on the Moesel and you can make lovely cycling trips right from the campsite. Recommended! Certainly compared to many other campsites in the area

A good location. Place sat in the middle of winter. Everything at hand: electricity, amazing showers / bathtub / sauna, Aldi around the corner and tram to the center at 100m. Nice welcome at the reception. Can imagine that these 6 places are quickly occupied in the season. Really recommended. PS you hear little of the city noise ....

End of February, so very quiet. Friendly welcome with tips for city visit. Entire toilet block for myself; had just been refurbished. Everything spik and span and some music when showering. What else do you want. Great place at the beautiful old port.

Nice gentleman who said that the Camperplaats is only open from April 1st. So no real assessment and drove towards Greifswald itself.

Delicious casual camping! As a stopover from the A20 or for several days. Fast reception and finding your own spot. Places are spacious and some have a view of the Creuse. Noise from road on other side of river and railway line is negligible. Village within cycling distance and lying on Voie Verte. Sanitary all right no more than that. In short: recommended!

We have been here for three days. Great campsite; nice spacious place with shade, no problems with adjacent road, river nearby and Florac-beautiful and real French town within cycling distance. Nice people and good facilities (bread, ice cream and lunch / dinner). Sanitary simple but certainly sufficient. We enjoyed the peace for three days.

The place is fantastic! All around views of the Eiger, among others. But that is more or less the end of it: sanitary moderately (little and moderately cleaned), pitches on the small side and an insanely high amount to spend the night ... € 45 for T4, 2 people and electricity. Tourist tax of € 4 is a bit on the high side.

Nice little campsite. Very nice reception. Spacious places with shade. Very nice swimming pool. Great but simple and above all clean sanitary. We were passing through here. Certainly place to remember and recommend. And you won't hear the sound of the road in a few hours ....

Warm welcome in English. Nice spot for on T4 California with indeed views all around to the mountains - or ff get up to see the Mont Blanc. A pleasant mountain campsite with sufficient sanitary facilities. Is on our list from now on!

To date, the perfect campsite! Very friendly reception. All amenities tiptop. Spacious and playful places in green. On the river, but you quickly get to it. Free shuttle bus for the door to Cauterets runs: 20 '. Base for many walks in the Pyrenees. Daily fresh bread.

A site such as a campsite should be! Fantastic views, you can go where you want and clean. That WiFi is less .... Have you not go to Norway.
