Great overnight spot with sea view for vehicles up to 6.5m. Larger vehicles still park there and protrude into the driving lane. Two caravans seem to be permanently parked near the toilet block, running a generator. We moved our campsite towards the snack bar. But that's not the campsite's fault.

The two parking spaces near the waste disposal area are spacious and clean. We were happy to have gotten one of them and were looking forward to a relaxing evening. Next to us were some very nice Scotsmen in space number 1. In the evening, two motorhomes arrived and asked us to vacate the two spaces, showing us their reservations. Why isn't this information posted anywhere?

Great campsite with large pitches for a table and chairs. Very well-maintained and clean. The sanitary facilities are basic, housed in containers, but very clean. We received a very friendly welcome, and the campsite manager explained everything important on the site and what's interesting in the surrounding area. He recommended the Historic Scotland app, which I highly recommend. All the great places are well described there.

The campsite is fantastic and even in rain and strong winds, it's very impressive if you can stand right at the edge. The many vans are annoying, though, as their occupants constantly slam their doors, not just during the day but also at night.

We were incredibly lucky to get one of the two spots. The location is simply fantastic. It rained all day, and now the sun is shining again. The two seals we can watch through the windshield are enjoying it too. McCartney already knew how beautiful it is here back in 1977; we only discovered it today.

There is not much to complain about here. Quiet location, good supply and disposal, spacious plots and enough large parking spaces for the large mobile, which simply straighten out in other places and take several places to complete. One more thing, the parking fee can only be paid with coins. Who in the world carries so much coins around.
