Lovely little campsite with all necessary facilities (mini-campsite with a maximum of amenities). Great swimming in the lake! Very friendly and helpful host. Rooms also available for rent. Beautiful area for cycling and walking. Many birds (including cattle egret and pygmy cormorant). Fireflies and bats on the campsite. Took a nice little walk past old cemeteries, orchards, sand martin nests and a great view of the Danube. Two

High standard of facilities, beautiful building with showers, toilets, etc. EVERYTHING you need (and more) is present and in ample supply. Very tasty pizzas and other Italian dishes. Very tasty local beer from the village itself, and the same goes for the local wines. Also take a look around the village, at the abbey on the river side (beautiful paintings on the inside) and by the river itself. Don't view it as just a transit point.

A great campsite, with 6 paved pitches for motorhomes and caravans at the front. At the back is a large meadow for tents, but also with electricity for campervans. If you are coming from the west, take the first entrance. If you take the second, you must either park at one of the motorhome pitches available there or go back to the first entrance. The sanitary facilities are well maintained, as are the washing-up facilities. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a terrace for cyclists.

We had booked for three nights (and paid in advance). After one "sleepless" night, we left! Less than 150 meters away, there are railway lines where a long freight train thunders past every fifteen minutes, 24 hours a day. If you like "kedeng kedeng kefeng," you might want to come here, but if you want to sleep, we would recommend another place. It's a shame, because the grounds and facilities are perfectly fine.

Beautiful location, excellent facilities, very hospitable owners. And the fact that the campsite is closed "today" isn't true; it's open until mid-October!

Suggestion for a new houserule on the campsite: no radio that your neighbours can hear ...

Showers and sinks for men are closed at 22:00. The doors for women remain open (although they also have a closing time of 22:00 on their doors). Men can brush their teeth at the 2 sinks in the toilet area and at 2 outside washing-up areas. A bit strange, but that is the only negative comment that can be made about this beautiful and luxuriously equipped camping site.
