We stayed here for 2 nights and that was fine. Quietly situated right by the sea. Don't expect too much from the sanitary facilities because they are very basic (porta-potties and showers in a container). There is hot water, though. You can walk through the interior to Mulranny in 15 minutes. It only costs 10 euros per night. Further down the same street, you can park for free and use the public toilets.

Because it was the Bank Holiday, all campsites were full. They were our last hope. Great spot, super friendly welcome. We did have to grab a bite to eat to stay overnight for free. There was also a band playing, so that wasn't a hardship. You can use the toilets. On the advice of another review, we did not use water or electricity.

Great place to stay for a night. Within walking distance of the center. And thanks to the tip here on Campercontact, we had a lovely evening at Matt the Millers with Irish music during dinner. Kilkenny is really a beautiful, lively place.
