If you like Roman ruins, this is the place for you. There are excavations scattered throughout the city. The campsite is within sight of the Roman harbor ruins, where the brackish water sits still. Accordingly, there are plenty of mosquitoes at the campsite. The restrooms are completely outdated, but they are kept clean. The only advantage is the abundance of trees, which provide shade, and we usually had a cooling breeze here.

The restrooms are past their best, but they're still clean and OK. Wi-Fi only works near reception; if you're standing further away, like we were, it won't work. We wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights while passing through. It's beautifully situated by a lake. The new restroom building has good, warm showers; the old one is sufficient for using the toilet. There's a lunch break with a closed barrier. The campsite restaurant is OK, but allow some time for the food to arrive. We would stop here again.

We would come back here. Good and clean restrooms (upscale), friendly staff, direct lake access, and a manageable size. With evening sun on this side of the lake. Everything was simply perfect. The nearby train and highway didn't bother us.

A small, beautiful, and quiet campsite. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. Located on the Danube, with a dike between the river and the campsite.

We booked a Comfort pitch for three nights, shaded under pine trees with spacious pitches that aren't too crowded. It's pleasantly quiet with lovely birdsong and a constant light breeze. Everything is great here, with the Adriatic Sea nearby. The restrooms are always clean, but are a bit dated. More than just a small double hook in the shower cubicle for hanging things would be nice.

We stayed here for five days and had mixed results. Initially, we were given a spot right at the edge (we only booked one night). By extending our stay to five days, we were able to move to a nicer spot with trees. The restrooms are dated, but immaculately clean. The site is very large. Between midnight and 3 a.m., motorcycles roar along the public road at extra-loud revs.

We stayed there for one night while passing through. It was a natural site with no designated pitches. We were able to choose our own pitches based on the category. Modern, good, clean restroom facilities. It was relatively expensive at over €50 (2 adults, 1 dog). It was a little over a 30-minute walk to the city center.

We stayed here for one night while passing through. A small campsite with direct access to a lake. A friendly welcome and briefing. The restrooms are exceptionally modern. We only took a walk around the two lakes and didn't go into Villach. We would come again.
