No-nonsense campsite. Friendly owner, spacious pitches. 20 euros per night for a 2-person camper including electricity. Clean toilets (4) and shower (1 plus 1 disabled person). Supermarkets within cycling distance. Beautiful walks to the nature reserve in the dunes. The village of Fort Philippe (to the right of the canal) is also worth a visit.

Stayed 5 nights instead of 1 (14 euros per night). Peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Check-in via large display, clear and in multiple languages, payment by debit card. Clean sanitary facilities. 1 euro for shower, 0.50 for toilet. Fantastic waste disposal point. Beautiful walking routes (Komoot). Went to Loule by bike, 12 km (not via the N2), a steep climb but doable. Small Portuguese restaurant 1 km away. Sociedade Recreativa Alportelense. We will be back.

well maintained camper place. 17 -07- 24 euros 22.50 for one night. with ticket parking discount on entrance to thermal bath. Quiet at night but a lot of traffic noise from half past seven in the morning.

Stayed 2 nights. shower and toilets are new!! staff friendly. Ate spareribs in the restaurant. mega tasty and meaty. Environment is beautiful. nice bike ride to Taberna (nice town) what is disappointing are the campers. Empty the toilet into the gray water grid, then spray away feces and toilet paper with the drinking water hose, and push the same hose into the toilet to rinse.
