Beautiful camper pitch on a magnificently restored historic estate, part of which dates back to the 14th century. The former watermill is part of the rich history. A warm welcome from the son. The owner took the time to tell us the history of the buildings with visible enthusiasm. The gîtes are also rented out for parties, but you are notified in advance. The son's piano music completed the atmosphere perfectly. Top-notch!

Beautiful, fairly new motorhome site in stunning surroundings. The layout is less suitable for large motorhomes (8.80 m). The pitches are very close together, making maneuvering difficult, especially when all pitches are occupied. In warm weather, there is also little space to sit outside comfortably. With a bit more distance between the pitches, this would be a very pleasant motorhome site.

Beautiful camper site with a lot of potential, but unfortunately our experience was mixed. We had trouble opening the barrier, something that apparently happens frequently (which isn't such a big deal), but we were not helped in a friendly manner at the kiosk. In some spots the grass was very high, making sitting outside less pleasant. I reported this by email but received no response. It is a shame, because with a little more attention this could be a very beautiful park. It is well situated.

We had a very pleasant stay at camper site Smartijs in Wingene. The welcome was particularly friendly. The owner informed us in advance that a party was planned and that there might be some noise. We found that very considerate. In the end, we were not bothered by it at all. The camper site is situated in a quiet location, and the view of the donkeys right next to the camper makes it extra cozy. We also enjoyed our stay there.

I can't judge. We were standing in front of the gate. Everything was closed. Despite it saying it's open today.

We hadn't noticed that a Camping Car Park pass was required, but luckily a review pointed it out. Our GPS led us through narrow streets, which wasn't easy. The power went out frequently, and the parking lot needs some maintenance. It's a shame about that large wall blocking the view of the magnificent castle. We'd already seen the castle, so we left to recharge.

I agree with the recent reviews. The parking lot is spacious and the grounds could use some maintenance here and there, but it was fine for us. Power isn't available everywhere, but due to the lower number of visitors in winter, it wasn't a problem. The town is within walking distance and has a charming street.

What a wonderful camper site! We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt welcome. The site is quiet, beautifully landscaped, and equipped with all amenities. The bread service is especially nice: you can enjoy fresh bread and cookies in the morning. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet and hospitality!
