Friendly campsite that has all you will need for a quick stop going North or South. There is nothing in the local area of any interest but you feel safe and an onsite restaurant is open. Showers hot and look as though recent work to improve them has taken place. Campsite clean and a filthy beach near by.

It’s Morocco. This is an average campsite that others have quite rightly described as noisy until midnight with motorcycles and cars reving and speeding on the adjacent roads. Then the Cockerel will start at the break of dawn. Difficult to get a good nights sleep. The guardian is friendly and helpful. He will organise a return taxi to Casablanca with the driver waiting and taking you to various tourist hot spots for 500MAD. Safe and worth it.

This Aire has been renovated. My visit took place on 19 June 2025 and it looks brand new. €9 per night and includes electric. Grey/Black waste disposal and water. You can also pay in person at the tourist office or follow the QR code posted at the entrance to the Aire. We were level others had used ramps. The view of the mountain is just stunning. The old station that has been renovated into a hotel is grand in design. Local cafes and bars.

Stayed Mon 26 May 2025. As a place to visit its great with lovely views from the lighthouse (200m minor incline) and a nice local beach with wonderful swimming opportunities and a nice walk along the promenade. The problem is, that because it’s so nice it’s very busy from 0900-2359. The local cafe was bustling all the way to midnight. Noise was ok but present. We did have a quiet night though. No services, no camping. 1 night is enough

This is a large area for off grid living. We could not help but feel slightly vulnerable although 2 other vans were present. Every noise we heard made us think we were being robbed, so on edge not such a great nights sleep but it was sooo quiet. Great views of sunset.

Stayed 18 May 2025. The site really is only 2 stars. It is scruffy and looks unkept. It has an American diner theme with old American style cars out front that are rusting with flat tyres, very dated this adds to a tired look. It appears that building work is taking place on the site this also adds to the scruffy look, however entertainment at the weekend was good, cold beer and food was just ok. Pitch places are fine but no electric . Quiet stay

Only parking permitted through the day. Properly built grey water dump point with drive over grill. Chemical toilet dump point with water tap. Separate water tap for drinking. This facility is approx 100metres from the car park down the slope on the narrow road immediately in-front of the castle car park. Car park is on a mild slope. Shame it can not be used at night as I would have spent some money in the Town. However well done to the community

Stayed 24 Sep for 7 Nights. This site is a true 5 star campsite but it’s not perfect. The area to drop grey and chemical toilet waste can be 200m from your pitch. It’s 7 Euros for a 33cl Bottle of desperados everything else is priced high. The spar shop is very well stocked and again most expensive. The restaurant area is pretty and evening entertainment is fine. St Tropez easy to get to on bike. Top Tip stop at Lidl and buy your groceries

Stayed 2 nights in early June at a cost of £16.50 per 24 hours. Toilets are 40metres from the car park. You can empty grey water over a purpose built grid. Black waste can be emptied. The only extra cost would of been the filling of water at £3 but this was not working. Slate museum short walk and well worth a visit as is a trip on the steam railway. Excellent location. Local councillor informed me this location was a new initiative. June 2024
