One of our favourite Aires in France, quiet with views over the lake. Only 9€ per night with electricity

Wants passport, home address details. I understand on a campsite when you pay before leaving, not on an aire where you pay in advance. Why don't they just charge 10€ all in

We love it, we do not understand the criticisms. It has water, disposal, tarmac to stand on. Parking next to the guardia civil feels like having your own private guards! Most of all it's free! Thank you Ubeda, for providing this

Fantastic little aire, centrally located, yes there is some noise but overnight we found it quiet and slept well. The old town is a delight to walk round. It's free to overnight!

On first approach you think oh no doesn't look good, but it is very close to the centre, very secure and friendly staff. All services are here. We were surprised at how quiet it was at night. We would come again

Genuine Spanish campsite, very welcoming manager, clean toilets, 10 amp electric, some road noise, all for €14.95 per night. We loved it

no services except a drinking fountain. Great location close to medieval town. We felt safe and slept well

Great little aire, very fair price. All you need services, a little road noise but to be expected in a built up area. Across the road a beautiful beach.

stayed here again on February 23rd, had our dog vaccination at the vet de bartlet just across the square. Very friendly and helpful vet. Great town thank you for having this facility

It's free with free services so it starts with 5*. Traffic a little noisy, you are in the centre! The vet on the opposite side speaks English for the tapeworm treatment also the petite restaurant near the Hippodrome does great food at a fair price. Thank you Douai for welcoming us.

It is lovely but be aware. You get a code to access all the services. You can only use the code once to get water and rinse your cassette in the 24 hour period. Also and more importantly electric outlet 6 had no earth connection. We rang the Town Hall phone number but although polite they suggested I buy a new cable! I pointed out with Google translate no earth connection. You could not choose another socket the code only works once!

Loved the industrial architecture, the industrial fencing around each pitch added to the atmosphere. €1 each for water and cassette disposal. Free to park, slept well. Only in Germany could you sleep near an old steelworks! We loved it

Friendly cheerful manager, pretty little site, short walk to lots of bars and eateries. Try eating at the " Rosticceria ll Focolare" this serves proper Italian food like mama makes, very reasonable price, it is basically Italian fast slow food. There is road and train noise but to be close to the town that is a price you pay! €20 first night €15 subsequent nights, all inclusive

Free to sleep,empty cassette, empty waste water. But no potable water. Not acceptable in the low season but they expect you to pay in the high season! Municipality you need to decide do you want us campervans to come and spend money in your rown

Stayed here 1/10/22 great little sosta, electric included and 16Amp. Lovely walk into the town, also massive market on Saturday

The drive over waste was completely broken and dangerous. However you are very close to the centre, it is a little noisy but you are in a central location. The cost is very fair all things considered. It is well lit at night

At the bottom of a pretty town, we walked up to the panoramic viewing platform, boy was it worth it, then onto the little bar/restaurant 200m away. The bakery in the centre does lovely bread products. Paid €13 for just under 25 hours. We found the electricity to be at least 16amp as we did not trip the breaker on the column!

Very friendly welcome, big pitch with hedge and trees between them, the odd mosquito for sure. That is normal for this area of France. Very peaceful and quiet location. A genuine French family feel to it, not commercialised.

Close to the city centre, free water and waste. Just be prepared for some noise from young people hanging about near the stadium. It's not a problem, you are after all in a built up area. Thanks to the city for allowing us this parking

Dated facilities but clean and tidy, pitches on the small side. Some of the hook up plugs had no earth, we used our polarity checker to find a correct one. 20€ on acsi is too much, 16€ or possibly 18€ because of the cycle path to Pamplona would be fair

travelled during Corona virus lockdown and owners went out of their way to let us stay. Thank you so much for your help. We have been before and loved it under normal circumstances

On an industrial estate, location uninspiring, but flat tarmac, fenced and barriered so safe. Probably more suited for a journey stopover. Once through barrier all services free, would use again

beautiful location,quiet and peaceful. We stayed 20/3/20, the barrier was up so therefore free but no services apart from cassette emptying. Thanks to the community for providing this idyllic place

services just up the road, slightly sloping car park in centre of village, very quiet, local bakery and supermarket, we got our dog wormed at local vet's 170 meters away. Vet spoke good English. It's free! to park thank you to the community

flat generous pitches, lovely facilities if you want to pay more, location close to beach, 10 euro's night including electric, what's not to like.

Okay I get the no camping rule. We sat outside for breakfast: 2 chairs 1 tiny coffee table, eating from cereal bowls, no food laid out. Another couple in 2 chairs reading opposite. We were told politely not allowed: the difference we were eating, come on lighten up! You make your own mind up. It is close to the beach though

The Aire is opposite the municipal compound, but when the hedge grows up it will be more private but on the plus side it is very well lit. We loved the size, location, solitude. There is a bigger cheaper Aire just up the road, we just wanted somewhere quieter.

Fairly tight streets for our 7,3m van to get here, but worth it. Delightful town square to park in, thanks to the community for supplying it. Will return

Wow what a delightful site, a former municipal campsite. Set in a meadow by the river opposite the town. ONLY 2:40 EUROS PER NIGHT!! We cycled in and found a little bistro called "chez de tonton" near the Ibis hotel and had a fantastic menu du jour for only 15 euro's each, thoroughly recommend. Also the vet close by treated our dog for tapeworm/ passport for 34 euros. Can thoroughly recommend.

agreed with all other reviews, but just for your information the road up to it is very steep, straight, tarmac and 200 meters long. Lovely views.

we travelled to here on October 12 2019 and found it closed but the app was showing it open, probably better to check the safari park website first. As we couldn't stay we gave it a 5 because we could not judge it.

Visited in mid October, village was empty. We had been before in the summer some years ago and it was busy. We like the solitude, remember to bring food with you in the off season. Thanks to the community for providing it.

Agree with all the other reviews but we came in early October and were besieged by mosquitoes. The campsite can't help that, if you don't mind mosquitoes then it is a delight for 16 euros with acsi. But not for us and I wish the campsite all good wishes

parked here early October paid 11.80 euros,, free water and wastewater. Beautiful view of the sea, yes it was a bit windy but you are basically parked on the beach, it's the price you pay for that convenience. Charming small town up the hill.

pleasant Aire on top of small cliff, well screened by hedges, easy access to sandy beach. No services except bins. Now 10 Euros for 24 hour parking

delightful little municipal camp site. some road noise in rush hour of a morning but you are very close to the centre, it reminded us how lucky we are too be on holiday. it was not a problem. we cycled around town and by the canal. thanks to the mayor and community for supplying the site for us to stay at.

single track road to hotel parking,set amongst wooded hills with the mist hanging even in the rain it is beautiful. Delightful hosts and the meal was wonderful, we felt we had found the hidden Germany. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
