A holiday in Aussie is not complete without having had at least 1 bushcamp! After having obtained a (mandatory) permit in Rainbow Beach from the park rangers, we spent 2 nights here. The plumbing is extremely simple: there are only a few "outback toilets". Wonderfully quiet, slightly less in the morning & in the evening when the cars come to and from Fraser Island.

Friendly reception; spacious places; great sanitary and icing on the cake: the mini beach on the Vecht & swimming in natural water! However, no active animal husbandry.

Beautiful place on the IJssel, with excellent basic & clean sanitary. Get the last spot on / at Friday, July 19, 3:45 PM, so be on time in high season!

A peaceful, green campsite in the high hinterland of Cairns. Friendly reception; excellent sanitary; a large open and neat kitchen space.
