Wonderful CCP site. Very quiet and peaceful, hedges full of birds. Very clean, reasonable sized pitches, some shade later in the day. Beautiful mediaeval small town and château. If you like walking there are other historical and prehistoric sights to explore from the site. Definitely recommended.

Very bad - dirty, unkempt, hanging large broken tree branches, one damaged electrical post, filthy sani station because the cassette empty post is difficult to access, overflowing waste bins and sacks of waste stacked on the ground. Many campers park in the free carpark nearby and walk into the site to fill their plastic containers with free water and to empty their toilet cassettes here.

Just to let you know there are no longer waste bins on this site. Otherwise a great site with reasonable size pitches, very quiet and peaceful. 10 minute walk into Chinon.

Very quiet and peaceful site - no marked pitches, can park anywhere on this large site - shade or full sun. An old campsite with the facility building locked, except for two toilets which campers can use. The grey water drain is broken and fenced off. There are signs showing an alternative drain next to the sanitary column. 45 minute walk to Saumur on the riverside path, lots of water birds. Great place.

Late September 2026. Good facilities. Easy entrance and exit by machine ticket. Close to beach and supermarket. However the pitches are very close together and some people put out awnings on the next pitch - so take up 2 pitches. This makes it very difficult to find a pitch when at the entrance the sign says there are several empty places. When we asked politely for people to make room we received very aggressive refusals!! Not recommended.

Ignore the first photo - this is now the pétanque court. The later photos are correct. Very quiet and peaceful - lots of signed walks/cycle routes nearby. Boulangerie and supermarket nearby. Old fashioned waste/water station. Modern public toilet, rubbish bins. All free. Even with the children's sport area there is no noise (Friday and Saturday). Super - thank you Plouaret.

Lovely place - so quiet and peaceful. Two tiers of parking places, pitches reasonable size. Facilities clean and working. Several walks from the Aire. Boulangerie (5star!) 2 km away in Plèvenon.

Today 17 Sep the facilities are not working - no drinkable water and no water to rinse the toilet cassette. Otherwise plenty of parking. Did not stay. CCP Aire and a Municipal Campsite nearby.

Great views, wonderful area to visit. However the camper site is disgusting - very narrow pitches, muddy in wet weather, no water to intake, no water to flush cassette waste, toilets for public carpark use also. Daylight robbery. Not recommended. Sep 26.
