the third star is because Angelo is so nice. But unfortunately the campsite is a bit faded glory. sanitary outdated and not very clean. the dogs are still there but you are absolutely not bothered by them. when we were there at the end of July the restaurant was not open? there is a food truck, Mr.Panini with hearty hamburgers on the village square on Sunday. otherwise quiet area. village beach was no longer there, larger beach at max. 1 km by bike.

Third time at this campsite. Never had any trouble with an unfriendly manager. Sanitary facilities are fine by IT standards. Waste was indeed an issue this time, but we worked it out in good consultation with the friendly employee. And otherwise take it to the rubbish bin elsewhere. Beach with lovely sea at the campsite. Cycling in the area is reasonable to good. 3 nights 112 euros: is expensive.

The campsite is situated a bit high up with a beautiful view of the sea. The sanitary facilities were neat and clean. Cold showers preferred due to the temperature. The beach was a bit of a thing, about 3 km. Walking distance and not feasible without an electronic bike. Even difficult. Very steep and very bad road/path. Scopello itself is nice for an evening. If you like walking, you are in the right place here with the nature reserve nearby. Paid 65 euros for 2 nights.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. Okay, it is expensive but it is also a nice campsite. 24 hour security, shop, tasty sandwiches and pizzas. Sanitary facilities are fine. Swimming pool not used but looked good. 5 minutes walk to the beach. With very clear water. Very slowly sloping to deep. We were supposed to stay at another campsite 500 meters further but it was closed. glad we ended up here.

We stood in front of a closed door. Gate locked. Afraid that it will remain closed,

Last stop before the return journey and visit Palermo. The access road is steep and very bumpy. Terraces camping. The view is magnificent. Sanitary facilities old and simple, but clean. Shower on the 1st floor behind a piece of canvas, 2nd floor did have a door (new). Very friendly managers. Beach approx. 500 meters walk, in a beautiful bay. Unfortunately, a sailboat sank here during a 15-minute storm at night. Felt strange the next day. Excellent camping. 30 euros.

The name is now Area 51 Sosta Camper Attrezzata. A very nice spot just outside the centre of Sant Agata di Militello. With very clean sanitary facilities. The beach is 30 metres away. The owner Fabrizio and his brother Gio are incredibly nice and helpful. Always cheerful and time for a chat. You are personally welcomed and personally waved goodbye. We even stayed there for 5 nights. If you are in the area: go there! Mus and Heidi.
