@NRW Motorhomes...not very helpful!

Simple sanitary facilities but mostly clean, pitches to suit every taste, quiet and comfortable, private beach with jetty leading into deep water, great beach walks through shallow water and sandbanks, restaurant recommended, town centre 3km away, easily accessible by bike via a lovely path along the beach.

Parking space between the bus terminal and the sports hall. Very noisy all night and even in the morning due to heavy traffic and a bar where people party until 2 a.m. Sleep was almost impossible. A nasty smell from overflowing trash cans next to the entrance.

Easy to find with the coordinates, neat, clean, and divided into 14 campsites. Free water and even electricity. We spent a very pleasant and peaceful night.

The parking spaces in the front area are unacceptable because of the kids' disco starting at 9 p.m. Loud music and screaming. The rear area is okay, but not suitable for larger RVs, as the grounds are rather unkempt and difficult to access due to tall, twisted trees. The ferry to Belem is about 3 km away, easily accessible by bike. The beach is okay and not far away, with various beach bars available.

Despite my wife's reservation by phone, there were no spaces available. The young receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and said she just didn't speak English very well and had misunderstood (my wife is an English teacher :-)). The site is totally disorganized, with many fellow campers taking up too much space to avoid anyone else nearby. The beach, by the way, is 1.6 km away, not 500 m as advertised. I would advise against it.
