What peace and quiet, and what beautiful surroundings for walks! We stayed two nights. Although it seems as though work is being done to restore the facilities (it is once again possible to dispose of grey and black water, but there is no water intake or electricity yet), it is still free for now. There is a toilet at the chapel of the former monastery, now a hotel.

Free parking with electricity and water, what a lovely gesture from the municipality! We were the only ones here. We enjoyed the Matisse Museum and the Christmas performance on the square. A beautiful brewery with delicious beers. Lidl a two-minute walk away for fresh rolls. We had a lovely walk. This is everything you could want, right?

recommended! fantastic place! very friendly and welcoming reception. from here walking to the viewpoint and past the sights in the park. for 1.50 Paolo will take you to Matera. we came back on foot (via the Ravina). the masseria is also of historical value and the owner is happy to tell you more about it. there is a film presentation in the “basement” of the house.
