Super deluxe camper campsite within walking distance of York. Booking in advance is necessary, but once you have done so, it runs like a well-oiled machine. Very friendly, very clean, exceptionally spacious pitches.

You can only visit between 14:00 and 18:00.

In the middle of nature, beautiful unobstructed view. A 30-minute walk to Arisaig. Outdated toilet block, but very clean. 1 pound for a 5-minute hot shower. Washing up facilities available. Campfire spots. Windless, so midges. The Spar in Arisaig sells Smidge; it smells wonderful and it helps too. A great location for the less demanding camper. The Harry Potter train runs past the back of the campsite. The friendly owner has struck gold, but leave it at that.

Great campsite, the best spots are right by the river. If you can snag a spot there, you can stay for a long time. We weren't on the water, and three nights was long enough for us. Each spot has its own water tap, which is ideal. Nice tavern, friendly staff, good beers, and a tasty menu. The village is within walking distance, and the supermarket is at the end of the campsite's driveway. 1 euro for 5 minutes of hot shower water—a golden opportunity.

Very spacious place, dog welcome, lots of water points all over the campsite, newest toilet building fantastic, toilet building at the back of the site also fine. Ideal base to cycle parts of the wine routes and visit Riquewihr. Between 12:00 and 14:00 the reception is closed and you can't check in, join the queue outside. We liked the campsite.

Fantastic campsite, situated on a beautiful lake. Snack bar-plus where you can get nice drinks, coffee, beer, pancakes and chips. And where you can get fresh bread in the morning. Sanitary facilities fine, washing machine and dryer, playground. Drinking water points everywhere on the campsite, and separate waste bins, nice and close at hand. The beaches (grass) on the lake on the campsite are compact. 800 m. walk and you have a public mega field on the lake.
