Dear fellow campers, I am reading the comments about this beautiful place with great amazement. All that whining and in my eyes whining about the sanitary facilities. There is nothing wrong with the sanitary facilities. I am always amazed by it. Write about other things that are useful to us, are there good catering facilities; are there supermarkets within cycling distance, are there beautiful cycling routes and share them. That is information that matters. Stop whining.

Dear Sjaak and Hortensia. We, Willem and Diana were here for the 2nd time (28/12 to 3/1/25) and again enjoyed your hospitality immensely, the baker with his fresh bread and other delicacies. The paella that Hortensia had made together with her mother. In short, a wonderful place where we felt at home and will definitely return. As far as we are concerned, 6 stars.

We, Willem and Diana, stayed at La Palanca for 5 nights in mid-December '24. Great place. Arne is a good host. You can also have a bite to eat and have a drink in the cozy bar. Village with facilities within walking distance. GR hiking trail starts next to the campsite. Arne is busy for the 2nd year and makes everything nice and cozy again. Definitely visit this place!!

beautiful place. hospitable owners. all very beautiful. good basis for cycling trips. Junction 24 is close to the estate, just ask Wendy. Don't miss the Ria cafe. delicious food. and fresh asparagus for sale near Ria's cafe. See you soon Wendy and Michel. Willem and Diana Schotman.

super nice campsite. friendly welcome in English. nice spacious pitches on grass and good sanitary facilities. bike path behind the campsite that takes you to the beach and the harbor in no time. off the campsite at the roundabout to the left a delicious bakery and further the intermarche. campsite will open on February 1 and not on March 28.

very nice place with a nice view over the town. column defective. walk down eroski and then keep right. if you go to the left, at the roundabout you will find a gas station with a minimarket for bread and such. is nice close to the CP. At 9:00 PM Uncle Officer came by with a note with our license plate number and date of arrival. you can stand there Max 72 hours. The downside was that very early in the morning near parked trucks were warming up. Noise.

very friendly reception. had a place with a sea view for € 23.00 including electricity. unfortunately no WiFi only at the reception. recommended to eat at la Parra. do not. in the 3 months that we have been in Spain Portugal we have never eaten so badly. Shame. maybe the cook wasn't having his day.

from the toll road Ap-66 about 8 km to the campsite. beautiful route to it. the friendly manager/owner spoke reasonable English. He said that the sanitary facilities were being renovated so that we could not use them. were allowed to stand and pay 4 euros for the use of electricity. we did . didn't regret it. what a beautiful place with majestic views of the impressive mountains. walhalla for motorcyclist and nature lover

we have been here 1 night on 23.3. nice welcome by english speaking girl. we were allowed to choose a place ourselves and were nice on a wild flowing river. plumbing ok.WiFi moderate. restaurant is nearby but cannot be done on foot or with ebike, so fill the refrigerator well. there is a nice Continente in Braganca.

we wanted to stand here yesterday. gate was chained shut. but after a look at the terrain we immediately drove on. horrible. it made a shabby impression and the surroundings are also sad. campsite 3 km away also closed.

great campsite. very nice gentleman behind the reception who spoke English. was allowed to put the camper across in 2 places because there were not many guests. baker came at 9:30 with delicious sandwiches and sweets. idd Koekkoek and many songbirds that whistled us awake. found the restaurant not a topper but very nice service. we paid 12 euros including electricity. good WiFi at the recreation building on the site.

beautiful spacious CP on the river Douro. across the road a nice restaurant where you have a beautiful view over the Douro outside on the terrace and prices are reasonable. WiFi is excellent and well 5 picnic tables is quite a lot but if there had been 1 people would have complained about it again. Some say it's never good. we will definitely come back. we paid € 40.00 for 2 nights incl. electricity and WiFi.

prima locatie met ruime plekken. werd zeer vriendelijk geholpen aan de balie ook nadat ik terugkwam om te melden dat ik met de wificode maar op 2 apparaten kon komen. kreeg direct een nieuw briefje met code. deze plek is een echte aanrader en veel mooier dan de meesteCP’s waar je bijna altijd op die witte grintjes staat. wij komen hier zeker terug.

were here today with the intention of staying overnight (€23.00). after the visit to the mosque/cathedral we left. what a desolate place. half an hour away towards Servila is a nice campsite in La Carlota. 22.95 with all amenities.

what a beautiful place in the middle of Spanish nature. warm welcome by the owners who speak Dutch. helpful with setting up the camper. definitely a place to return to. village with supermarket and restaurant within cycling and walking distance. Willem and Diana Schotman
