We went to ask at Loevenstein Castle because there were signs hanging that said "camper spot closed due to event". Those signs remain up all year round because the municipality and State Forestry Service are fed up with the behavior of some campers. It is a real shame; it was a fantastic spot. So, it is now being permanently closed down. Unfortunately.

Great location to visit Dinant from. A bit of a tricky access road, but doable with a 7.80 km (7.80 mph)

Excellent overnight stay, wonderfully quiet and within easy cycling distance of Monschau. Well signposted.

It's a great spot during the day, but around 8 p.m. it becomes unsafe because the area is overrun by young people. Loud music and racing cars. Lots of young people hang around. We watched it for a while but left around 9:30 p.m. It felt threatening.

great place, you are self-sufficient. The place was free, the payment machine was shielded.

3-8-24. €16 for an overnight stay incl. electricity. Sloping places, happy with the level system. calm spot. At the no-vehicles sign, simply drive straight ahead. You can pay online but also at the cash register at the pool.

perfect camper place. very helpful people, excellent sanitary facilities. We are coming here for the second year now and it will probably not be the last time. Approach route a bit narrow but that is quite normal in the UK.
