great little campsite above a nature reserve with donkeys hens etc. overlooking the lake, peaceful and friendly management..,bar and cooked meals (to take away) on the site. Three minute walk to small village restaurants on the port. Loved it here.

We love it here. We are currently locked down with the coronavirus here but it’s a great place to be stuck. Nice terraces for privacy and leafy sites - many large. Sinks on most pitches. Small self contained rooms for shower and toilet (no washing up facilities) Beach bars restaurants nice town close walking distance. Well stocked camp shop. Friendly staff. Love it!

Very adequate campsite - nice shop restaurant facilities etc lovely pool which was open (but freezing!). The sea just across the road and a small modern village walking distance. Many of the pitches are very large - almost double the regular size. Nice to see a campsite in this area that is not swamped in high rise buildings. Fields of plastic covered trees on each side are a bit off putting.

Couldn’t believe we were the last slot in a 450 site camp!! Can’t honestly see why people would come here as there no obvious close by beach that we could find and it’s noisy (right on busy road) and cramped. Mosquitos too!! Very friendly helpful receptionist . Apparently you can fill propane into your English bottles here (after searching for four days to convert to dismiss from calor gas!)

Great spot. Very interesting to see the travellers as this is there first stop. Lovely high level village with medieval church and two bars. A real one horse town. Very peaceful overnight to rushing stream.

Lovely leafy park spot with big trees. Electric and water provided. Slightly complicated machine to pay to get barrier to rise but stick with it! Space for up to 20 van's. Short walk to nice town with bars and two health food shops!

Our cable only just reached the electric - park near hedge. Only 17€ with acsi card in May. Can walk dog off the lead down end of site. Baker in morning - can order.

easy to miss as coordinates wrong. keep driving along a mile or so and you'll find it coming from south. nice pitches with good views of sea and hills if you walk up hill. annoying showers that even after paying a £1 you have to press every 5 seconds or so.

They got the 'best small campsite' award of 2017 for good reason. Impeccable wash block and games room. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely camping field with a good dog's walk behind it. Great views. There is no beach however as it is mud flats and marshes

Great location on river near museums and shops and pubs near centre of Dumfries. On main road means noisy traffic in working hours. Sunday was ok. Note second line of coordinates lands you in the Irish Sea. First line is correct. Fine for overnight stop.

Helpful staff speak english. We used their accommodation for a friend which was adequate (but porch had a loose wooden rotten tile which was dangerous.) Facilities were fine. Tokens for shower. Wi-Fi weak . Pizzeria on seafront ok. Temples easy to reach (bus) Shop and fruit /veg stall opposite. Expensive site 23.50e off season as everything is itemized. Very useful for fab temples which is why.

Classy restaurant serving just one 4 course meal a day with wine 25e each.excellent food. with vegan alternative. expected to eat there every day. 2 fab meals. Rented room for friend through booking.com £35. Fine.

What really sells what this place for us is the use of the courtesy car for 20e for six hours so you can leave your van and explore. We went to Ragusa Ibla (old town) fab trip - park in aire on here but dont drive van there with first option of sat nav as it takes you through old town aargh! avoid! camp site is great- small, right on sea, golden sand.wifi good. defo returning!

Parking is fine and public loos nearby round from the tourist info open all year We nearly got badly stuck in the tiny medieval alleys approaching it. PLEASE don't follow sat nav's 1st option. Have a look at alternative routes and select an option that clearly doesn't go through the tiny town. There is a good wide road that gets you there and takes you out. We hired a car and came back! fab trip.

quiet down small country roads but near autostrada. Good stop off en route to Sicily. Canoe club with clubhouse with boat storage. get phone number from website and ring so they open the gate for you. No response from number on here. 15e for camp with electric. in clubhouse toilets etc.shower (1e for 5 minutes). also posh table tennis table. bats and ball if you ask. safe for dog to run round

Stayed in January. cosy spot with toilet in bar. friendly people. noisy children's party in party tent on site. cheap for one night 10 euros including electric. hard to get to as exit from A1 was closed so we had to exit at Casino and circle back 25 miles.

Gorgeous spot. Nice walk to village with supermarket. Fabulous view very helpful owners. very hard to access with Sat nav as roads are very narrow. We couldn't find our way out with a big Motorhome and had to ask a car to lead us out! best to turn left out of Campsite to avoid this and ignore Sat nav if it tries to lead you back into village!

we enjoyed our stay in January. nice site good showers etc. buses were infrequent on the public holidays or Sundays . tip - ask reception exactly which buses go to the centre. there are many more than just 246 or 247. also coming back ask driver if it goes to Panorama and many do. most expensive we have ever paid but that's Rome for you.

after all the negative rating we thought we'd push the numbers up a bit. yes it is annoying when every little thing costs extra but it is a nice comfortable site and is quiet apart from the train which we didn't mind. We love places where we can walk to a town and this has everything walking distance. nice to find somewhere open in January and fab location being close to Montecasino.

very friendly. came in January so no facilities other than electric 10e the night which was great . very hard to reach as the exit from from the A1 was closed so had to do a 30k detour. as you leave the Ceprano exit (which we accessed the other way!) take the left turn on roundabout a nd it's 800m down on right.

fabulous stay! Andy n Sharon (English couple) could not be more accommodating or helpful. they helped us fix our brakes, order steps for the van, took me swimming, took me for a haircut and shopping! They cooked an open fire goulash for us all and invited us into their house. They take campsite hosting to a whole new level. definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. you won't want to leave!

excellent place. I agree with all the points on the other reviews. They rang taxis for us every day negotiating complicated arrangements with the drivers involving airport pick up and our dog making sure we got a fair price. Even didn't mind when we broke off a strip from the wooden bridge by leaving our steps out on the motorhome!

This was my favourite place of my trip so far. The location is so remote and peaceful with fabulous views and walks. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. There is a communal warm cosy sitting room and kitchen. The bathroom provision is very good. We will be returning!

very helpful owner. this is an inn and you camp in the garden. there is a small toilet sink and shower in the garage. basic but fine. peaceful and rural with wild cats around . bus / tram to Krakow takes an hour with a change but we used Uber taxis all the time which took 20 minutes. Top tip : eat at Senses Dining in the dark restaurant in the old town. expensive but really worth it. hilarious!

Great spot close to hypermarket. Public swimming pool and sauna in town (zwembad). Unmanned huge carpark with machines to pay for the night (not checked) and metered electric hook up. Goats nearby, but beware of electric fence around them where our dog got zapped!

April 1 2016 Lovely position on top of hill right next to a 16th century fort. Circular smallish site - lots of grass that we watched people get stuck on today. Plenty of hard standing too though. Popular site. Swimming and spa facilities very good for only 8e. This is a mile walk away on Avenue de 21eme Regiment Infanterie. Aldi close by too.
