Small walled site, tight for 20 MH. Large vehicles can park outside with power cable thrown over. Friendly and helpful owner, Omar, gives a fairly hard sell of his tagine and wife's pastilla. The latter is excellent, but huge and very expensive. 400MAD seemed to be non-negotiable, but gave us 4 good meals. Electricity supply is good with 40A circuit breakers; the wiring looked OK for 20A. No WIFi. No grey waste disposal. Cassette emptying OK. Rate for night inc. electricity 79MAD. Charge for showers and washing machine which we didn't use. Pleasant walk to town centre through a palmeraie.

Two camp sites are listed, but we found only one. Perhaps they have merged. Coming from the north we took 15km of the P1000, very narrow. Better to use the shorter southern part. The access track, as noted, is very rough. Popular with surfers who coped with the steep climb down to the beach. Didn't use the showers and other facilities, also a long way down the hill. Rough and rocky path to the village which has a small supermarket for bread and one or two cafes and restaurants.

85MAD + 25MD for electricity. Nice pitches on terraces, some with water tap and grey water drain. Impressive views of the rocks. Excellent shop. Restaurant looked good but we didn't eat there. Four modern 5kg washing machines, (busy, so get there early) 40MAD/ wash supervised by a non-French speaking lady. Communal washing lines, good for large items. Convenient location for visiting Paradise valley and approximately 3km from busy Aourir town. Stayed 4 days and would visit again. Only downside were the several barking dogs in a Dutch group of 19.

Confirm price 50MAD + 30MAD for electricity (if you have a long enough cable). It is close to the town, but not a very interesting part of it. When we were there it was absolutely packed and most of the spaces were very small and dusty (too small to use a barbecue. Waste emptying was OK, but didn't find a working water tap (marked as not potable). When we arrived it was being run by two young boys who were very friendly but useless.

The facilities seem to be similar to European standards and the pitch density matches the worst European sites. It is absolutely crammed and some recent arrivals are being squeezed into corners of roadways. It's 550 metres from the end of the site to the entrance. The 8 Amp electricity supply seems to be much better than most Moroccan sites and the wifi is reasonable. We planned on staying a couple of nights, but one will be quite enough at 126 dihrams for what they call a comfort pitch pus 25 dihrams for the feeble electricity supply. I guess that it is more comfortable than sand; in fact it's a yellow coloured concrete area which looks as though it might once have been a sports pitch. The staff seem to be completely overloaded and not very efficient. I wouldn't recommend this site.

Splendid location close to the city centre. Arrive early, it was completely full on a public holiday Sunday. A few cars and a van parked in motorhome spaces were towed by local police around midnight. Nice to see the local authorities acting on our behalf for a change.
