Stayed for the folk festival. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the festival, pubs, restaurants. Great coffee, cakes, breakfast baps from van onsite. Why complain about €1 for a 5 minute hot shower - seems good value. I think I paid €25pn for just me and my campervan - again, good value. I managed to get one of the flat pitches, not all are. Good kitchen and "games" lounge. Laundry machines not available before 4pm. But still rate site 5*

Excellent site with plentiful, spotless facilities. 15min walk into Tralee through a park. Very helpful guy on Reception.

Good location on golf course. Friendly club bar. Great if you fancy 9 or 18 holes which I did. Very nice course. Shower unfortunately was cold though.

Fantastic location looking onto harbour. 500m to town centre €10 for the night. Toilets available. Makes me think about using motorhome park ups more frequently instead of campsites.

Great little site. Quite quirky in a nice way. Decent shower block and good kitchen and social area. Good price for campervan plus 1 person €20. Good location for exploring the peninsular.

Very nice site. Facilities clean and large shower space. Lovely woman on Reception, so helpful and speaks English. Nice covered swimming pool with outside sunbathing area. Convenient location for the lakes.

I used this in transit to the Jura mountains from the south. I think some others were doing the same as it's not far off a main south/north highway. It was good. Swimming pool for the kids, bar/restaurant at the entrance, good size pitches. Sanitation block ok.

Fantastic site right on the river so perfect for swimming or water sports. Lovely lady in Reception! Music on Saturday nights and different food vans most nights. Pitches are generally shaded and a good size.

I think my first 5 star review? Fantastic location by the river so perfect for swimming and canoeing etc. Very natural site at a good price. Facilities all excellent. Pitches a good size. Loved it.

Tried to phone ahead many times, no luck. Arrived, site full. Not impressive site anyway. ,Very shabby! Went to the nearby Aire.

So tempting to give it 5 stars but the pitches let it down a bit due to tricky access and sloping ground. But, hell, it's natural, on a hill, amongst lots of trees and with fantastic views from most pitches. You can't have natural and manicured at the same time. Staff are great, services are spotless - constantly being cleaned - various eating options and a really good shop. Washing and drying machines were limited though.

Pitch was a bit rutted from previous heavy rain still, considering that, the pitches were pretty good and dried out quickly. Friendly staff. Pool on site looked good. Great for kids. Services were OK and clean. Why this thing with no toilet seats though...please!!

Unfortunately the night I was there it was heavy rain but I think if the weather is good then the shaded pitches would be welcome. I used the pizza takeaway, which was good. Location is excellent. Services are ok but why no toilet seats for Christ's sake (France?). Overall, you would not regret staying here despite the higher prices.

Small, pretty site 10 mins walk from the village. Lovely facilities and free use of the municipal pool adjacent to the site. I paid €22 incl taxes, no EHU needed. So not the cheapest site but well worth it. Note that most pitches are on a bit of a slope.

Large pitches in fantastic location. €14 a night for campervan, 1 person and didn't need EHU. Ground a little lumpy but not too bad and didn't want to knock off a star for that considering everything else. Turn up, pick a free pitch and pay late afternoon when Reception opens.

Stayed here for just 1 night to break the journey from Dieppe to Nantes. It's a really nice site, big pitches, on the river (so mossies of course so bring spray!). Didn't need EHU so cost me just 9 Euros. Absolute bargain. I suspect that after persistent heavy rain some of the pitches may get boggy so pick your time.

Website says it no longer offers camping pitches unless using their lodges or mobile homes.

It was OK. just me and one other van. Facilities very clean, if dated. A bit expensive (approx €21) for me, a campervan and EHU. Nearby town (approx 1km) of Ribadesella very nice and avoided the crowds of a Coruna.

Well organised campsite. Restaurant closed but a simple bar open from 15.00 hrs. Restaurants and some good pubs/bars just 2km away. Facilities are very clean. Staff very friendly. Cost me for a camper, 1 person and EHU just under €20. Suspect this is a stopping off place to or from the ferries.

I agree with the previous reviews. Well worth 5 stars. Had a great proposal from Clara for a day out along the Douro valley. May be a little bit difficult to access the site if you are towing a long caravan - steep uphill tight bend!

Hard to add more to the last reviews. Best site I've stayed in through Spain and Portugal. Really friendly Dutch owners. Great sized pitches - I just had a VW camper. Taxi to Tomar. Forest walks from site. Can't fault the facilities. Loved it here.

Quiet site at this time of year anyway. Absolutely spotless facilities and lots of them. Very friendly Reception. Pitches are a mixture, many with some slope but not too much. Most have

Little space between touring pitches. Facilities really need refreshing but the basics are all there. Bring your own bog roll though! Short walk into Alvor which is small and pretty, with lots of bars and restaurants if that is what you want.

Set up more for the semi-permanent residents. Touring pitches very poor most are small and awkward ie in a larger van you just about park parallel to the road with little room to put your stuff out. Great bar on Friday and Sunday with Ozzie and Tracey - mainly friendly English clientelle. Pool area is amazing, hence 4 stars.

Agree with flipke's review regarding the weekend. However I would say the sanitary facilities are bad. No doubt dirty with the volume of families here at the weekend - there was only one smallish sized block open for hundreds of campers - but it was also just in a poor state of repair. I would really not want to be here in the warmer weather when the campsite is full. Pity really as it is near a beautiful beach and the staff were very friendly.

just arrived in campervan VW T6. Pitch plenty big enough. some shade around if you want it. For info, washing machine is €5 and dryer €3.

20 mins or so walk into village. Uphill coming back so be aware if that may be an issue. Very clean, large pitches also with water tap on each. Not many Touring pitches but very quiet anyway at the moment. About 30 mins drive to Ronda. Recommended.

Stayed 5+6/9/20. Many good points ie 5 mins walk to Kastraki, close to Meteora. Biggest down points - pool was not clean on 1st day and closed second day. Filter issue? But bigger problem is size and maintenance of pitches. Almost none I saw were flat, trees needed cutting back. fortunately in my VW T6 not an issue but anything bigger would struggle to find an ok pitch. Sanitary fine.

Stayed from 4/9/20 for 3 nights. Site is quiet which meant I had amazing front line pitch with view over the valley to the gulf. iIncredible location. 45 mins walk mainly up a rough track to Delphi village and then another 10 mins easy walk to the museum and excavations. Friendly owner and staff on hand. Welcome swimming pool after site seeing. Probably the best site I've ever stayed at?

Stayed 30/8/20 for 3 nights. Site very quiet and well positioned next to the sea and short walk into Sami and all the restaurants. Fantastic swimming pool. All facilities and pitches very good. Very pleasant staff in Reception. Really recommended.

Very good site. Pitches are variable but Nicky - I think the owners daughter - showed me all available ones so I could choose. Meal at onsite restaurant fantastic value. Really recommend this site. An ok beach is 300 yards away. Nicky incredibly helpful in terms of onward ferry bookings. Food in port not to be recommended based on my experience.
