Spacious, level pitches, mostly with a view of the Main. Friendly welcome. Always plenty of space. Bread rolls available. Nice swimming pool. Mediocre WiFi. Reasonable sanitary facilities.

Nice campsite with plenty of hiking opportunities. Super sanitary facilities. You can even store your MTB indoors. Still not 5 stars because many pitches are relatively small and the campsite is quite pricey. And due to its location against a mountain, the sun only shows itself for a limited time (at least in September). But otherwise great: friendly welcome, water and drainage at the pitch. Excellent WiFi. The campsite is mainly visited by mountain bikers and hikers. During the day, everyone is gone.

Well, that’s all that has been said about this city campsite. Addition: no bread rolls, but those are available at the bakery located in the large plant shop 250 meters down the road. Fresh vegetables too. Oktoberfest is next week; the tents are already set up, see photo. The site is being prepared for the "festival" by mainly English volunteers. To the question: how do they find their own shelter, the answer was: they usually don't, they just fall in one.;)

Initially, a soulless campsite. But then again, we didn't have a nice spot; our view was of permanent mobile homes. However, there are some nice pitches. Not super big, by the way. Moreover, the little lake was surprisingly nice, with a lovely (small) sandy beach. And not surrounded by a fence like is often the case. Great for swimming! Within 10 minutes by bike to Dinkelsbuhl. The sanitary facilities downstairs are new: super sleek. All in all, perfectly fine for 2 days.

Nice campsite, large, flat pitches. Nice sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome at reception. Good restaurant (reservations recommended). Large swimming pool next to the campsite (not part of the campsite). Good cycling opportunities. 500 meters from a nice town. And 400 meters from two supermarkets. Little to no direct view of the Main. Highly recommended.

Great place to visit Würzburg. Easy come, easy go. Spots by the water and with electricity fill up quickly. And campers parked right next to each other. Behind them, there is more than enough space. The small restaurant next door is quite nice. At the back of the parking lot is a large park, ideal for walking your dog.
