Great service point as it is the only facility in this area. I have used it many times and have been grateful for it. There can be problems with people parking cars on it but a polite request to move does the job. It can be untidy at times because the previous user has left it so. Ireland needs more facilities for motorhomes on garage forecourts. Well done to this enterprising business for providing this one.

Unfortunately no overnight parking signs are now reported at this location. Kenmare is a beatiful town but there is no willingness to have offical places for motorhomes. Best to move on and spend the 500 euros approx that we spent on our last visit to Kenmare somewhere where we are welcome.

Great aire with all the facilities at 10 euro a night. Located beside a marina, a castle and a forest. Lovely walks and cycling in the forest. A restaurant available at the castle. 20 minute walk to town. Aldi a 5 minute drive. Waterways Ireland card which gives access to electric hook up available at Supervalu supermarket in the town. Beware the fresh water stand pipe at the service area. I saw it being used to rinse out toilet cassettes.
