This is a lovely peaceful naturist site with very friendly owners. The pitches are large & there is a fabulous lake for swimming. Fresh bread can be ordered & delivered to you unit. we planned for 1 night & stopped for 4, could have spent longer but not enough time available for us. Highly recommended.

If you like dogs, then this is the site for you as every other person seems to have a dog. The site is in a nice location, about 1 mile from the beach. It’s a nice walking & cycling area. There is a lot of entertainment on site in the evenings & the restaurant is good. The nearest small town is San Jose, about 5 miles away & has a small supermarket. Green plastic covers many pitches, = no sun😎

We have been to El Portus many times over the years. There has been no real investment in the camping areas & it really needs updating. It’s all looking very tired & over half the pitches are closed due to the risk of flooding. Nice bar & pool areas & a good location & beach, but that’s about it. They take the ACSI card.

This Aire was very difficult to find. We put the coordinates in the SatNav & it took us down dirt tracks & places unsuitable for Motorhomes. Also tried using Google Maps without success. In the end we gave up & went somewhere else.

Fabulous location with great hosts Vikki & Pete. Lovely showers & toilets, plunge pool + electric hook up all for 15€ a night. We had a 2 course evening meal including half litre of wine each whilst there for 15€, which was lovely & we ate in the outside converted barn area. They are a lovely British couple & would have no hesitation in recommending this for a stopover or holiday. They also do B&B

This is a nice location near the town & a Lidl about half a mile away. You need to pay what looks like 4 Euros for access to the toilet emptying & for electric on limited spaces, make sure you have 2€ coins. The downside for us was that there is some kind of factory unit on the other side of the river which makes a metal squealing type noise for most of the night whilst we were there.

Never got a chance to try this place as there were so many badly parked cars near the entrance in the afternoon, that we couldn’t even turn of the main road towards the entrance.

We arrived at this parking area which was rough to say the least. There was an old Motorhome jacked up with the front wheels missing & someone living in an old caravan. Within 5 minutes of being there we were confronted in our van by an insistent man wanting money for us to stop there. We refused twice & decided to leave & move on, as we did not feel safe staying there or leaving our van.

Nice site & location. We stopped here for a look but decided it's a bit on the expensive side for an Aire, so went to an ACSI site instead. You need tokens here at 3€ for showers & a short burst of electric, so it makes it a campsite price without all the facilities.

Nice Aire only about 15 mins walk along the river to town centre. Nice location by the river with views of the castle. Water, waste & toilet emptying here, although the toilet emptying could be better!

The coordinates for this site are wrong and take you past the site to the coast road about half a mile away. Keep a look out for the water park, the site is next door. No hot water in the washing up or toilet sinks, but plenty in the showers. It's about a 25 min walk to the town centre. For 5.60€ a night you can't go wrong.

This is possibly the worst municipal site we have stayed in Portugal & the most expensive at 14.40€ a night. There is no hot water at any of the taps & it's only just warm in the shower. It's ok for one night to see Braga centre which is about a 25 min walk away. The Motorhomes service point is good for one van at a time. They keep your passport which I didn't like.Generally not good site in March

Lovely spot for a dip in the hot thermal spa & it's free. Motorhome parking here is forbidden by the wall next to the pool, but there are a number of vans parked on the opposite side of the road. Rubbish bins available & a small bar/cafe, but not much else.

Good location for walking into town. Flat Tarmac road behind Eroski. This road is used by traffic, especially in the morning with the school run. Fresh water, waste & toilet emptying at the Aire.

Nice Aire with good views & only about a 10 min walk to the city walls & centre. Water, waste & toilet emptying here. What a lovely city this is!

This site is in a great location to visit the city. There are 8 places all with hook up. Fresh water is available at the hostel, however there is nowhere to empty toilets. The price is 7.50€ per head, which included breakfast & a shower at the hostel which was great. Regular buses 28 & 58 from outside the site take you to the city centre. The site entrance is just past the coordinates.

Nice location overlooking the bay. 10 min walk into town. The Aire is very slightly slopping. Fresh water , waste & toilet emptying available. The dustman comes very early certainly on a Wednesday morning.

Nice quite Aire on gravel, but slopping makes it difficult to level up, especially on the longer vans. Good location to visit Chateau.

Not a bad location but not much around apart from a bar next to the car park. There are rubbish bins & spring pouring out above a wall ( not sure is its drinking water or not). Not much else here, no indication that Motorhomes are permitted here. No charges as far as we could see.

Could not really define where to stop here. There were no other vans about & no indication that Motorhomes were permitted, so decided not to stop

Lovely Aire about a 10 min walk into town, with restaurants, bars, pharmacy, small supermarket etc. Slightly slopping but no real problem. Waste & toilet emptying but fresh water. Great location for ferry, gets busy!

Great Aire with fantastic views. Just follow signs for caravan when approaching. No services, but service area in village at bottom of hill. There is a toilet to the left of church in Monsaraz.
