The location is beautiful. Only bizarrely busy. The lake is really beautiful and wonderful for swimming, SUPing, etc. The owners are quite rude. Especially for people who come by on the bonne voix. They are barked at. When we were there (left 2 weeks earlier) it looked like Ter Apel. Had to pay 150 euros extra because we left early. The sandwich service was great by the way.

Always friendly reception. A real 70s campsite 🏕️. Everything very old, but super solid. Also two biotopes near the campsite. We paid 32 euros for 2 adults and 2 children.

Fine for 1 night. Nice lake to cool off a bit. Big fish in it. Tip. Book in advance to be able to eat. We thought we would have our dinner there. Everyone enjoyed a piece of meat and potatoes. We could not join. Had to cook for ourselves.

We have also been coming here for many years. It's a water protection area. The water was always clear and blue. Now they have been tapping water for two years before it enters the lake. Now less fresh water enters the lake, causing it to warm up. Algae as a result and other vegetation. It's a pity, because they value nature so highly. on average we now lost 60 euros per day. 2 adults and 2 kids with the camper.

We have been coming here for years as a transit campsite. Terribly dated, but that gives it that little extra. Great for adventurous kids. Cable car, river, lighting a fire in the evening. Even an old-fashioned gumball machine is present.
