I stayed at the campsite for 5 nights with my two 17-year-old sons. Ralf, the groundskeeper and the heart and soul of the place, was simply fantastic 😎. Super friendly and incredibly helpful. The campsite is located in a pine forest by Lake Lankensee. The sanitary facilities could use a little updating, but everything was clean nonetheless. The highlight of the campsite was the peace and quiet ❤️. We want to say thank you again and would definitely come back.

The 4 stars are only for the beautiful view. Electricity is expensive, and water is even more so. 10 liters for €1. There's not a single trash can, no toilet, and even the wastewater disposal is expensive. €1 for 10 liters of fresh water is very expensive for camping. I spent 12 nights at the campsite with my boys. My boys got their driver's licenses at the Action Camp near Dankern Castle. The young organic farmers were incredibly nice and totally easygoing. I had complete relaxation during the day. The sanitary facilities were in an adjoining room of the horse stable, but absolutely fantastic 😎. We felt completely at ease during our stay. We would come back anytime. 😎👍🏻🙋‍♂️
