Since we knew what we were getting into, we were neither surprised nor disappointed with this parking spot. We had free choice of spot, there was no one else there. The view of the mountains and the cows was a dream and the thermal baths are highly recommended, we have rarely experienced such a beautiful sauna area. All in all, not cheap fun, but recommended. The trip to the waterfall in the bright sunshine was also great. We will be back.

Decent place, well run. The owner gives tips for those unfamiliar with the area on how to get into town. Electricity and water included in the price, we paid €88 including tourist tax for two people, two nights in a motorhome. Considering the very tidy and clean sanitary areas and the nice place, this is quite reasonable. And there is also a daily bread roll service. What more could you want???

We were here with two camper vans over the weekend. We got two pitches next to each other, just as we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were OK, the bread roll service worked really well. Despite being fairly busy, it was pleasantly quiet. We went on a lovely bike ride to Oberhof, looked at the town and the ski jump, everything was absolutely worth seeing.

We spent two days with Tom and felt very comfortable. Great atmosphere, great pitch, great sanitary facilities, great host, what more could you want. We also enjoyed breakfast and a three-course meal. We'll be back 🙂

Pragmatic place, exactly as you would want it. Cheap, flat, sewage, electricity, close to the center and the castle towers above you, what more could you want? We spent two nights here and can only recommend the place.

Beautiful place, friendly operators. Electricity, water, sewage, everything available. Even food is offered. Only a few minutes' walk from the moated castle. No street noise. Dogs allowed. If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back.
