Super nice campsite, immediately stay a few days longer to also laze around. Swimming, walking, sauna (!), lots of peace and quiet, you can walk straight into the forest. Very child-friendly but so much space that you don't necessarily have to sit near the playground. Various fire places and many activities to do from the campsite. Ideal as a first or last base if you come by ferry from Gothenburg. Now on my permanent list!

With sunny weather an ideal place. The camper places are with the nose to the water on a paved area with its own piece of grass. Unobstructed view and the beach nearby. Above expectations! Electricity is included in the place (no discount if you have solar panels 😉).

Beautiful campsite where I like to come back. They are expanding considerably, tip for people with children: walk up the campsite towards the hill and near the back exit is a (new) large new playing field with cable cars and obstacle course (easy to miss). Via the cross-country route you can also branch off and go back and forth to a beautiful waterfall and bridge, recommended on AllTrails. Indicate that you are a camping guest and you can also swim for free (pre-season).

Fantastic amount of space and wonderfully quiet on a flat grass field. The 20 camper spots mentioned include electricity, so if you don't need electricity there is enough space to find your own spot. Behind the main field is an extra field for tents, among other things. A return! Tip: the light switch for the general area can be found at the doorpost past the bar.

Nice! You can walk into the forest, with holiday homes. Nice to stretch your legs. Nice welcome and you can also pay with Euros: €15,- without electricity, on the lawn.

Nice place on the water, quiet and cozy. Everything looks new and carefully designed. Please park nose or butt to the water, there is plenty of space.

Drove here on the number of rave reviews, it is certainly not a bad campsite and indeed very friendly and helpful reception. With nice weather it is ideal for swimming, you will not quickly find a sandy beach in Norway. I think that is why for many this was the first campsite after the ferry from Oslo. As a first stop definitely recommended, as a last stop you should not compare and just be grateful where you are.

Nice cozy little camping, very cozy. You can easily swim in the lake via the boat dock or beach. Like in Norway: wear sandals or water shoes because it is not a sandy beach. Nice and green versatile view. Really a relaxed atmosphere and place to come back.

Nice campsite with beautiful main building with outdoor shop and cafeteria. Cozy decorated and feels new. It seems like they are renovating a lot of old things, there is an old hot tub full of trash and a dilapidated swing, but new huts and benches. If you can level well, you can also stand at the back of the forest, much more pleasant. This is a typical mountain hiking campsite. Sauna is 30km away, not on site!

When the weather is nice, this is a great place where you can get into the water in various places. Beautiful places under the trees and yet in the sun. You can hear the road, but the place is enchanting. Traffic calms down towards the evening. We always use earplugs, because just stand next to a waterfall 😉

Perhaps the place if you want to be active in Geiranger. You are directly in the center with all shops and restaurants close by. Ideal to do a first tour (Rib boat) of the day, then a walk, Fjord Senter museum, Zip Line or Emob car and finish with the last tour of the day (Cruise). Don't feel like cooking anymore? There are plenty of dining options, including or especially Take Out for lunch.

Nice campsite without permanent pitches, also with permanent gravel pitches on the terraces. You can choose your own spot and if you go away for a day for activities, you can leave things behind to reserve your spot. If you see a nicer spot becoming available, you can move! This free design makes it very pleasant. Fresh rolls between 8 and 10 in the morning. Ideal base for brisk walks. Farm restaurant on the mountain near route B.

I will ignore the 1 and 2 star reviews from now on. What a nice campsite this is, you are going into Norway so "brace yourself". As the last stop before the Ferry it is great, swimming in the sea with beaches and ladders and diving boards directly from the campsite. Hiking with forest and rocks around the corner. Sanitary is really great. You can dump the toilet at the first (from the entrance) sanitary around the corner. For privacy on a campsite you have to stay in your camper!!!

Very spacious, close to the water and very suitable for water sports, fishing and swimming. Plumbing is new, very nice! Kitchenette for 2 people, but very functional. With refrigerator for cooling elements. Choose your own place, on the grass or by the water on flat gravel. various picnic benches and fire bowls, so fire and bbq are allowed within the specified period. Small shop sells charcoal, among other things. New owner is making everything beautiful.

Nice place, you can choose your own place, but please do so sensibly. Sanitary facilities in the main building are very neat. bakery on site. Additional sanitary building has been added (unit). But... with a camper you can also dump and fill here, so no problem using your own sanitary facilities. Pebble beach is a 400 meter walk, depending on where you stand. Handy start or end point if you are going to follow the Ryfylke Scenic Route.

Normal price for a paid camper place with services. Park neatly, so there is room for everyone. Be early, before 3 am. Most places here are sought after by Preikestolen hikers (mea culpa).

Nice place. 5 of the 10 tables can be used again. It is well maintained. Beautiful surroundings and long sun.

Very impressive. It is recommended to be here on time to also do the circular walk (one and a half to two hours). The café is also open until 5 or 6 pm. Even in high season there is enough space, but also count on the regular parked car during the day. Bring earplugs, the waterfall doesn't stop at night 😉

Parking at the zoo. A lot of space. Better than at the football stadium or athletics track. Green view. We are here for a few hours now and all visitors to the zoo are gone. We only stand on a large parking lot at the edge of a vineyard and under 2 olive trees. Upon arrival you hear an irritating squeak from a cable car in the zoo, but it is turned off at 19.30. The rest of the evening you hear a peacock and every now and then a car that drives past.

Forget about this place and go to the zoo.

Impressively beautiful. Flat places under the grape vines and fresh herbs and courgettes from your own little garden. Covered terrace with bbq. Sanitary is neat. Very well suited for wheelchairs or disabled people! Swimming pool on site. Equipped with large restaurant and village with shops only a few 100 meters walk. Here we will come more often.
