nice place to stay overnight without facilities and electricity. also quietly situated at a park.

On the way from Norway to the Netherlands, spent 1 night at this campsite. Check-in was easy to do on the computer screen in the lobby at the reception. A key card for access to the campsite automatically fell out of the machine after paying for your spot, which you could also choose yourself on the screen, using the maps next to it that you could take with you. Price is a bit on the high side...

lovely quiet spot at a harbour; there are 14 spots, 4m apart; pay via the harbour website; after payment you will receive an access code for the toilet and shower by sms; unfortunately there is only 1 shower, but it is very clean; at the harbour kiosks (= a kind of cafeteria) you can order delicious pizzas, which will be delivered to the camper a little later...

indeed a nice parking spot at a small museum. you can stay overnight for free; if you want electricity, it costs 80 nok per day, to be paid via vipps.no

i just added this location (with some effort), including the details for/of this place. it is a great location for an overnight stay; it is on the main road, but there is little traffic at night.

I agree with lovbug65's review...

We wanted to stay at this accommodation for a night today with our camper. But the 'gravel road' from Fv41 appeared to be raised, and had not yet been leveled, so here and there large holes in the elevations; there were also large trucks driving and passing each other was simply not possible... Unfortunately, there was no indication anywhere that the road could not be driven on...

beautiful overnight spot for campers; nice view over the harbor. pay cash in an envelope hanging above a mailbox: 200 NOK or 20 Euro ( = incl. electricity); there are no sanitary facilities, but a clean toilet can be found a short walk away at the playground on the right side of the harbor.

beautiful overnight location, with a view of the river running along; a beautiful waterfall next to the campsite. sanitary facilities super nice: each shower 'room' is very spacious with toilet + sink + shower. 20 kr / 10 min. via a payment machine in the hallway. And indeed what someone wrote: there was a smell to (drinking) water, so I didn't fill the camper tank with it either.....

fantastic place to stay with a view over the Eidfjord, worth 5 stars; but the sanitary facilities are cramped moderate(s): very small cubicles to shower, so clothes hang on the hooks outside the shower cubicle, little ventilation... and therefore only worth 1 star when you arrive you choose a spot, in the evening the owner comes by to settle the bill

enjoyed a nice overnight stay at this campsite; each camper place is at least 4m apart. sanitary facilities can be called mediocre; shower with coins, but the manager forgot to tell me, so the next day we showered elsewhere....

nice place to stay overnight with (fortunately) rules: minimum 4 m. apart; and do that because we saw a check later in the evening and a few campers were asked to leave.... price to pay at a machine and this also gives access to the museum and lighthouse; and toilet can be found at the access road to the nuseum

nice campsite for an overnight stay before taking the boat to Norway. sanitary facilities are clean, but not overwhelming.

Great place to stay overnight. the campsite with beautiful view of Sognefjord is located approx. 12 km from E39. on the campsite beautifully clean sanitary facilities: each spacious 'cabin' has its own toilet + sink + shower. Highly recommended....

What a gem this small farm campsite is, run by super friendly managers Berthe and Staffan. Call them to see if there is a place before you drive over the 11 km long road (Fv435) from the E39... There are 5 camper spots, but tents and a few caravans can also be accommodated here. You have a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains, and next to the campsite a waterfall 'rumbles', but in a camper barely audible...

nice campsite on a river; choose your own spot, but keep to the rule "4m-distance-from-each-other" (is strictly enforced by the owner...). showers a bit small...

beautiful spot to do an off-grid overnight stay; almost no traffic at night; we were there (mid-June) 1 night with 4 campers definitely recommended after visiting Stavkyrke Borgund...

we were here for a weekend in mid-June; spacious pitches, to choose yourself, on a special camper field; owner comes by in the evening to settle the bill. at this field a 2nd sanitary building with neatly renovated and very clean toilets and showers, men and women separated; at the building also a waste water discharge point and toilet cassette + fresh water intake. definitely recommended this campsite...
