Shady spot by a river. Friendly Scotsman running it. WARNING! When you visit Veliko Tarnovo, find the parking meters and pay immediately, or you will be clamped. We were unaware of meters, parked correctly, went to an ATM for some local currency, and returned to find our wheel clamped. Only 16 lat to remove it, but apparently a big problem with unaware tourists. We saw 3 foreign cars clamped.

Rough narrow fisherman's track to a small lake. Shade in places. Slow going in a motorhome. Dry weather only. GPS co-ordinates lead to a working quarry. Turn right 50 m before their gate.

Basic grassed campsite on the lake. Easily found. 50 metres down gravel road, left hand fork.
