The spot is fine as far as I could see. It is nice that the municipality offers such a place. When we arrived last night, in addition to the six 'officially' parked campers, there were about six more scattered across the parking lot. It is just a matter of waiting until the residents start complaining and the spot disappears again. That is why we drove on and found something else.

Now, in mid-November, we're spending our third night here. No problem staying overnight. Apparently, only caravans are allowed. There are about 50 campers per night, mostly surfers from many European countries. The atmosphere is relaxed. It reminds me of my avid windsurfing years. Beautiful beaches are a 15-minute walk away. A village with restaurants and a well-stocked Spar is a 15-minute walk away. No camping here! No facilities other than waste containers.

Perfect for a visit to Lourdes. A 10-minute walk takes you through the chaos of souvenir shops. A few minutes more and you're in front of the main basilica. Paid €10 for 24 hours. Nothing. Electricity is available. Water is €2.50 for 100 liters. Less is all it takes. You need a Gardena man/man connector. There's a waste pit. There's a camera, but it's not otherwise monitored. Getting there is a bit of an adventure. The Waze app guides you well, so just install it. Torchlight procession at 9:00 PM.

Five stars for the place itself and the surroundings. ZERO stars for all those campers who still go there when the 4 spots are occupied. Who spoil it for the campers who do adhere to the rules of max 4 campers and 48 hours. Heavy fines there!

What is a CP and how much 💫 do you give for what? If it is a P with special places for campers where you can spend the night, it is a CP in my opinion. If you pay €3 for 24 hours, that is perfectly fine and I thank the municipality for this. If only every municipality in the Netherlands did that. No facilities here, that's right. We don't need them at all. And this way we don't have to pay for them. Great starting point for cycling! Thanks, Thorn!

Upon arrival at the reception we ask 'Do you speak English?' We only get a sullen and resolute 'non!'. A tourist campsite..... and then non speak English...... Don't you want to earn money? Also check it out if you come on holiday in the Netherlands.

A beautiful location. Thanks for this. Too bad that now 2 nights in a row there are 6 and 7 campers when we arrive late at night. There can only be four. So you help the place to soap. We spent the night in the bicycle parking lot opposite the factory.

I like to get there. All the more because I can check in even at night if I leave my late shift. The location is good and the facilities are excellent. Too bad I can't make a reservation. I understand that somewhere but now I dare not just drive 200 km and stand in front of a full area.

Great place for overnight. Delicious pizzas ordered at eatery Doornenburg. Were delivered by very friendly young man at the camper door. During the last light of the day, a nice walk around the castle is recommended.

Have not been there yet but planned to come in early October. Unfortunately see that they are only open until 1 October. Strange for such a camper place ...

Fine for one or several nights to visit this beautiful city. You walk along the water into town. 3 campers can become tight as they are longer than 6 meters. Parking meter, I could not find in the dark. The next morning, however. Bridge / water crossing then immediately right between water and the flat through. At the end of the flat state, the P - meter. Only cards.

Truly a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Thanks to the owners. Unfortunately, we have had several times hampered by motor home owners who think their dog (s) anywhere to be able to run loose. Dear people, not everyone likes the animal does everywhere sniffing, drooling, barking, defecating and sometimes menacing growl.
