This spot is for boat storage in the winter. We parked in the parking lot a little further down, also by the water. Spot with gravel, no electricity and no facilities. Costs €30 per day according to the signs.

We stayed here on January 28, 2026. It was a great spot without amenities, right near the beach. The rate was €0.60 per hour. We paid €11.20 for one night (8 p.m.).

October 12, 2025: Indeed, a simple place with a challenging mountain road as access, but manageable. The water tap was turned off and the well lid wouldn't open, so that was disappointing. Beautiful views and lovely surroundings, though.

10/13/2025, the parking lot is closed with a chain, and camper signs are no longer there. Is it no longer a camper site?

The last review was correct; now 1 CHF per hour, all hours, even at night. Murten is a lovely town!

this is not a campsite, staying overnight in the parking lot is not allowed

only mobile home park. Cannon camping and caravan park nearby. 500m towards Dover on left. great campsite.

The parking is apparently only after 5 p.m. for overnight stays. we were already there in the afternoon and we were therefore refused the overnight stay. Camping Gwersyllu is nearby and we could park there without any problems for £8.00 p.p. Hank
