We stayed here the last night before the ferry and had a great meal (if you don't eat you pay 20ยฃ to stay in the car park). The chef and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were not bothered by the street at night. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay overnight and from here take the bus to Portsmouth or take a walk around the harbour, at least 10 restaurants within walking distance. We were in good company of at least 25 campers last night! The traffic starts to pick up from 6am so chances are you'll be awake early.

The owner lost his license, has now got it back. Toilet and shower are now next to the pub, with code you get when you pay 20ยฃ. Fresh water available, chemical toilet can be emptied, electricity not available. Friendly welcome in the pub. Street is nearby.

great place to stay, next to the visitor center where you can eat delicious pizzas in the restaurant, reservation is required. You can also use the toilets there, open from 9:00 to 21:00. Portree is within walking distance in 20 minutes. If it is windy you are well sheltered from the wind here. Had a quiet night, despite the street.

Good and cheap place to stay overnight, even if it is just a parking space, if you want to visit the city. We walked to the centre in half an hour along the river. We gladly paid the voluntary donation of ยฃ10 for 24 hours.

this place is much less nice than the west beach on the other side of the city. There is enough space but you have no view of the sea. Close to the center though

great, quiet place to stand if you are self-sufficient, right on the beach. Now in September quiet with cars.

Great, quiet and cheap option (11ยฃ) to stay here if you want to visit York. We did not use the facilities. We were here at the weekend and the manager who came to collect the money told us that the bus only runs during the week. We therefore drove with the camper to the park&ride Askham Bar (free parking) and then took the bus, 5.50ยฃ for 2 people, to the beautiful center of York.

great place to stay, wonderfully quiet. The beautiful lake with the church is wonderful to walk to, or cycle around the lake, approx. 30 km. We only needed fresh water which was available, for the rest we are self-sufficient.

nice place to stand. Every now and then some locals come to walk their dog, the people are very friendly. There is a small lake behind the parking lot that you can easily walk around. In half an hour you can cycle to Cambridge, usually via cycle paths

A paradise on earth! The peace that prevails here is so nice and we have encountered the friendliest and most helpful people ever, Adriana, the owner and her daughter Iris. Stand here if you're in the area and support the existence of these must-see places!

The campsite is very quietly located and you will lack nothing here! Clean toilets and showers, a garden where you can even pick your herbs for your food, many seating areas, an outdoor kitchen with a refrigerator where you can buy drinks or ice cream very cheaply and very friendly owners. In short, a campsite to go to!

super place to stand, very quiet and relaxing! It is not a campsite but a large area around two lakes where you can find your own place. It is an advantage if you are self-sufficient, because there is no electricity and there are no showers, but there are toilets. We were able to drive there without any problems, despite the narrow road. Our camper is 3.50 high, 2.40 wide. Highly recommended!

super nice place to stand, many places, also suitable for larger campers. Surrounded by the sea
Sitecode: 24052
super nice place to spend the night, the road to get there is also an experience. Although the road is narrow, it is also fine for larger campers. You must have been here!
Sitecode: 88248
super place to stay, there is room for up to 100 campers! It is the old airport of Kjรธllefjord. Absolute rest to spend the night. If you are at the very front you have a beautiful view of the fjord and the Finnkerka.

Definitely worth the 7km detour on a bumpy road and the walk to the troll dolomites! We spent the night there with 1 other camper, no problem, absolute peace except for a few sheep. Clean toilets, which are closed at night.
Sitecode: 20614
toilets are clogged, water is closed everywhere so no possibility to get water or empty the toilet
Sitecode: 86304
the path that leads to it goes through a forest, there are some tree roots, but doable with a camper if it is not too big. There are many flat spots with a beautiful view of the water and the fjord. There are no facilities so your own toilette is a must, take your waste with you again!

magnificent view of the sea from the campsite. Washing machine and dryer are free but the price is now June 29) 290 kr without electricity

Quiet place to spend the night, right on the water. Possibility to take a walk along the water.

very nice, clean and new parking lot right on the water with very spacious places. The view is magnificent. We spent a quiet night here. Toilets at 3 minutes walking distance, we did not use them. Possibility of beautiful walks along the sea.

Flat areas, stony ground. Next to a playground and park with benches. When you cross the bridge you are directly in the beautiful town. Follow the signs for autocaravana and drive for about 50 meters on a dirt road. We were here in early November and it was very quiet. We slept well.

For 8 euros per night you should not be too critical! It is a quiet campsite, pleasantly large pitches, sanitary facilities are quite old as described, but the showers work fine. If you open the tap wide enough, the water is wonderfully warm. and you can shower as long as you want. Toilets without glasses.. Bus stop in front of the campsite, 1.70 euros pp. We stayed in Porto in the evening, so we took a taxi back for 13 euros.

Great place to stay, quiet at night. At the end of October almost all places are occupied, so standing quite close to each other.
Sitecode: 10861
quiet parking, center very close. Now, at the beginning of November there are only 3 campers. The police drove by without comment.

Very nice and quiet place right on the lake. We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very comfortable here. Beautiful 19 km walk around the lake. But indeed, as written before, shame about the mess in the bushes behind the placeโฆ

small depot for approx. 8 campers in the heart of nature, so wonderfully quiet. The owner, Arne, is very nice and willing to help. Good sanitary facilities. Worth a visit!

Great place to stand! Wonderfully quiet, good and clean sanitary facilities. At night it cools down nicely, so you can sleep well. . At Andre and Ilse you feel really welcome.

super quiet with large places. Very nice people. Highly recommended for the price of only 5 Euro!
