YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARKING HERE WITH A CAMPERVAN, AND CAMPING IS DEFINITELY NOT ALLOWED! This is also indicated on signs at the entrance.

Apparently, the number of campervan pitches has recently expanded, now to 24. Additional amenities have been added: wastewater disposal and chemical toilet emptying are free, while clean water costs 10 cents per liter. Opposite the campervan pitches is a clean restroom facility, which costs 50 cents. The foot of the castle bridge at Lake Traunsee is a 5-minute walk away. Both day and night, this Seeschloss (sea castle) area is a magical sight.

Anyone who likes luxury and brand new should pass by this campsite. Anyone who appreciates rustic and charming with a slightly creepy factor will be in the right place here. The children's playground is "based on Boy Scouts, Montessori and Waldorf". The extensive nature reserve with a flowing stream where only camping guests are allowed to walk is absolutely idyllic.
