Excellent location. Spotless sanitary facilities. Very quiet. Ideal for parking and exploring Texel Island.

We loved it. Modern site. Automatic toilet cassette cleaning, free dishwasher. Dog shower area. Spotless restrooms. Magnificent scenery. Easy beach access. In fact, we stayed two extra nights to enjoy it.

The site itself is clean, but there's no attendant, a kennel right next door is quite noisy, and a noisy road runs alongside it. On top of that, some young people came to cause a disturbance in the evening by driving through the site and honking their horns! There's a large free car park right in front for visiting Zaandam, which is sufficient, and afterwards, if you want to relax, it's better to go to another site.

This area is very popular, so it's best to book in advance. It's a bit pricey, but it's in Amsterdam, and in a park. All you have to do is hop on your bikes to explore the city. The facilities are clean and the campsite is quiet. Worth doing.

The site is very clean and quiet. The attendants are attentive and keep a watchful eye on the area, which is much appreciated. We parked our campervan for two nights and cycled to Kinderdijk (about fifteen minutes) and Rotterdam (via the waterbus). The site is well located.
